GT5 Lap Time Bug online mode (not fixed in 2.03)

To clarify. Look at the video timer. And then look at the race timer. The race timer is going like 10% faster

if you have no mic connected and on the six access controler, your are fine and will not be effected.

REMEMBER: This problem only affects SOME people in the race, OTHERS WILL HAVE "NORMAL" time. Posts don't make this clear. This means, some guys who are (in reality) lapping the same as everyone else, IN THE GAME THEY ARE ALOT SLOWER. So some people have this "handicap", other don't - making organised racing online on GT5 IMPOSSIBLE. FOR FUCKS SAKE POLYPHONY - 1 YEAR AFTER THE GAME IS RELEASED WE GET THIS??????????? THIS IS KILLING ORGANISED GT5 RACING ONLINE - SORT IT OUT NOW

I am glad to see that someone has actually brought visual evidence of this. I have stopped racing online until they fix it, this issue has always been there but now its worse then ever. Thanks again for posting this.

@xXSkinnyMeXx Yeah it is, notice that in the description he says:

"The video starts exacly the same time as I begin to drive on my lap."

Now, notice how much time did he lose at, for example, 3 minutes. He lost 15 seconds! It is unsure whether PD is aware of this bug or not, though.

the bug it's simple, when the video starts is when the laps also starts, now see his lap time and see the video time, it should be the same and it isnt.

Can someone explain this bug in a more simple way? I honestly don't understand or see a bug in this video :(

Very good vid. It explain a lot. 30sec handicap per lap = OMG! Did everybody else got this bug?? I did not get it, as i was able to do good lap times (7.13-7.16) during whole race. So wtf? Could it be: wheel + voice chat ON + full grid = bug?? or is it just some kind of connection error?
