People have been skinning animals since the ICE age. How do you people think they skin them in the past? Some people eat them so they don't go to waist, so they have to keep them alive and fresh. I don't participate in these killings and eating them, but you people sound stupid and naive to say "I have no idea that this kind of animal torture goes on in making your wallet."

There is no humane way of killing animals for product making!

i remember seing a documentary about skinning the snakes. I think first they hammered them, then hung them up so their heads would point upwards. they filled their bodies with water so the snakes would look like long hanging balloons. And many of the snakes were still alive at this point. they were moving a bit.

I think after a day or two they would take down the snakes and brutally pull off the skin and throw the bodies away.

Those people are just monsters.

Maybe ripping the animals's skins off without even killing them first is something they do just so that the guys from the factories will pay more to them...if people complain about those industries and stop buying their products after seeing those videos, they might get payed not only to provide skin but also to stop violating the animals's rights. But there are still lots of people using stuff with real fur, scales or feathers.And the funny thing is that they're expensive!

Someone tell me how putting a pretty woman on an advertisement about cruelty is going to help anything. Yes, you will get people to look at it, but they won't be looking at the message. I think what they do to these animals is terrible and I think that Peta needs to realize that plastering sexy women on everything will not make people think about animal cruelty. Sex can sell a lot of things, but this is not one of them.

Amazing that more and more people finally realize that leather is murder.

My dad bought my mom this extremely expensive leather coat,it was massive,I told him I'd stop eating till he returned it.He took it back in the end but I was extremely pissed at him anyway.
