the wii version of twilight princess was MIRRORED so that right-handed wii owners wouldn't feel wierd swinging with a left-handed Link.

In the gamecube version, Link is left handed, the desert is to the west (as it's supposed to be), and the map text isn't reversed like it is on the wii version.

So yeah... Brawl's Link is more reflected upon the gamecube TP.
