Durian <-- by its name means "full of spikes" in Malay language in Malaysia and Indonesia .. how the fuck that a Thai fruit is named in Malay language? this is so misleading...
"Tempting scent that is unique and appetizing"??? I found it more of a disgusting scent that is revolting and nauseating. Yet if you can get it past your nose, it's actually pretty good to eat. Though it's definately an acquired taste. One that I'm still working on acquiring.
yes at thailand also have durian. however durian is only found at the south thailand where the soil is originally malays motherland from the kra isthmus at the north to the malaysia border at the south before invading n annexed into thailand. in vietnam also have durian especially at the central n south where long time ago is a malays kingdom called champa before collapsed. sorry bad english. im not want to provoke just to share the information n to tell u durian is so synonim to malays. peace.
This is fake. Durian is from Indonesia and Malaysia. "Durian" itself is Indonesian and Malaysian language. It means thorny fruit. How can you claim it is Thai fruit??
@platypnoea They're just referring to it as Thai fruit to tell you what's available in Thailand. I dont' think they are claiming it originated in Thailand. Just chill!

Nobody forgets eating durian. It took two days to get the smell out of my house. Overpowering bad smell but good taste.
