why not just round up all those who hate our military, all or any bit of it and air-drop them into the Golden triangle from say 10,000 feet- sans parachute -and drop a few more into Iran. Ff they survive for a year and a day ; ask them then which they hate most ; the U.S Military or the gooks. I despise rather than hate such people who must be "soft in the head", or foreign!
why not just round up all those who hate our military, all or any bit of it and air-drop them into the Golden triangle from say 10,000 feet- sans parachute -and drop a few more into Iran and if they survive for a year and a day ; ask them then which they hate most ; the U.S Military or the gooks.I despise rather than hate such people who must be "soft in the head", or foreign!
@dragonallie0 Yeah man same here also if you hate the United States Marine Core you can also go die in a hole same if you hate the Marine Recon or any military branch.
Wouldn't it be cool if Will Teasle (Brian Dennehy) came back to meet Rambo and finally bury the hatchet? That's would be awesome, too bad it didn't happen.
I love the characters Stallone embodies and the character that is truly him. He's simply one of the great actors and great Americans who will recognized forever. I wish he were the president. - Steven Clark Bradley
@JLC31383 hmm, i think they should stop milking the franchise by now. 4 parts is enough for me :P but than again, i said the same at the 4th, but i loved it so, i guess i'll see
It says so on the IMDb that the next movie will be "Rambo V: The Savage Hunt" set to come out in 2011. I think it is crazy they are doing another one- but these days filmmakers will do sequels to just about anything. There is also talk for a Die Hard 5, Indiana Jones 5, and Terminator 5. There was going to be a Lethal Weapon 5 set to come out in 2012- but Mel Gibson declined to return because Richard Donner was forced to drop out as director of the project due to falling out with the producers.
@AngryPlaystation Yes- I actually know that. I have announced that on things myself. The comment you were responding to was written before Sylvestor Stallone stepped up and said his days of playing Rambo are now behind him. I am actually glad because that will be one less movie to worry about. Websites indicate there is a chance they may make another one anyway using someone else for the role- but I will not see it if they do and just pretend it does not exist. The last one had a perfect ending.
@AngryPlaystation They possibly had "Rambo" as the title because it was the first one made in 20 years and that was not the name of the first movie (as his name was not even in the title for that one). The last movie itself had an okay story- it just did not fit in with the original trilogy as the only thing in the entire movie to even link it to them was the flashback scenes containing parts from the old movies. I think they should only make another one if it is a prequel with a younger actor.
@JLC31383 Nr.1. First Blood Nr.2. Rambo - First Blood part 2 Nr.3. Rambo III Nr.4. Should have been called Rambo IV. just calling it Rambo is very uncreative.
Even Psycho 2 came 23 years after the 1st and wasnt called Norman Bates
@AngryPlaystation Sometimes producers may find it not as interesting to reuse a title followed by the next number. That must be why Die Hard 4 was "Live Free or Die Hard" and Terminator 4 was "Terminator: Salvation". The fourth movie for the Spider-Man series was going to be called "Spider-Man 4" before it was scrapped as a result of both Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire dropping out of the project. Now it is just known as "Untitled Spider-Man Reboot" and will have a real title after it gets filmed.
yeah its true. stallone directing it and acting.. ive also read online that the script will follow the original one written by Stallone for Rambo, in which Rambo finds out he has a daughter and she has been kidnapped by a hostile cult, from which Rambo must rescue her. sounds like commando to be honest.. but commando doesnt compare to rambo :)
But i can't imagine Rambo hunting down fuckin mambo-jumbo ocultists or sect members :p Maybe hippies? Rambo as a vet is kind of enemy for hippies. So... some radical-left-wing organization kidnapps his daughter? Damn good :p Btw. Daughter? With who? Who's mother? Co Bao? But Rambo is now in States....
the original rambo composer is jerry goldssmith (1929-2004) but the theme you hear at the very begining of this song comes from a song calle its a long road, used in the end credits of first blood .
This dude brian tyler did an awesome job with the soundtrack, im glad he kept this theme from the original and kinda revamped it. I dont remember the original composer but I think he died

Stallone defies all sterotypes about final films by anchoring them in realism and having the audience connect to the characters in ways they haven't before. Overall, Stallone is one of my favorite directors and one of my top favorite actors as well. Rambo (Rambo 4 as I unofficialy call it) was a great movie and one of my all time favorites.
great score to bad "It's a Long Road" from First Blood sung by Dan Hill isn't on the soundtrack too. From how the film ended it would've great ending.
Yup. Excellent ending and what I really appreciated was Brian Tylers superb score keeping that familiar theme and by paying homage to Jerry Goldsmith's music from the first 3 Rambo flicks. Fantastic.
i don't think the ending could have been better that last scene was a perfect ending lol it's about time he went home...lol they shoulda had a fat cop stop him.
Like someone else mentioned on another video, this is where John would have ended up if he wasn't bothered by the sheriff in the first film. Nice to see some closure, but I hope we get at least one more film.
John walks. his destination, a farm. perhaps his fathers. He's returning to something thats right. the mountains, the hills, the solitude, the peace, the good air!
he pauses. he looks back at the road of the past. he shrugs. time to move on
he does
the long road ahead awaits him. its clear and it looks good. the marvelous orchestration by Brian Tyler reaches a crescendo.
John keeps walking. it feels right. and so do the audience
@tomdakid This title of this song is Its A Long Road by Dan Hill. Take the lyrics off and this is what happends to the song. Beautifully done.
