My intro to this band, though late, was incredible. St Patty's day, in the old Boston Garden, opening for U2 for the Trompe Le Monde CD. I'd hardly heard of them at the time. (embarrasing). They blew my mind and disbanded. I've since backtracked and know their greatness! Would've loved to have seen this show though! They haven't lost a thing.

For a lot of us, we never got a chance to see them, although they were known. I remember flipping through Thrasher mag and seeing Pixies record release ads....and I saw them often, meaning they relased a good amout of records in a short period. In an eye blink it was over, but we still had the music.
