Is it only because she knows Scott won't fight back? (That doesn't make sense to me personally, since he could have been killed in any of the other battles anyways.) Is that something explained in the graphic novel better?

Another reference might be to (hear me out) Romeo Must Die. Jet Li "couldn't hit a girl" either,but he got around it by using Aaliyah like a puppeteer in order to kick the female assassin's ass.

Like how the "KO!" from the Mathew Patel fight sounds like the KO from Street Fighter. (I actually thought they were using the original one, but it turned out to be someone doing an imitation. A damn good imitation.)

Ramona's epic drop-kick) is a stupid assumption to make. But if he meant "They're soft" as in "I'll be tempted to cop a feel" then that's even more sexist. Like he wouldn't be able to resist or be able to take the fight seriously. (I know I'm reading to much into it, but I'm a critic, it's what I do.)
