Yeah refs never make a call on a boarder-line infraction. Never. Guess you play in a league with perfect refs. Most refs will call a ward if a guy sticks his hand out and the d is trying to stick check on that side. I didn't say it was warding, I did say it will get you a whistle and a turnover for a perceived ward. Thats the kind of thing youth refs call because they are basically rookie refs in many cases.
