If the Transformer Prime only has a 1200x800 screen, why is it important to watch 1920x1080p footage? Why not just watch 720p at 1280x720?

film will play on the hp touchpad perfect while running webos but not under a beta version of android as the graphics arn't fully sorted yet.

@MrTice1973: 720P High profile setting MP4 does not even play in WebOS default player. What player do you use to play 720P, let alone 1080P? These videos shown are in 1080P.

I don't see your point. The prime has a 1280 * 800 res. Are you saying who gives a damn about playing HD videos on a tablet? Well I do. And also the HP touchpad could be better with overclocking if the person decided to overclock the GPU. Also please don't start a flame war. I can tell you are huge HP touchpad fan who doesn't care about other tablets :-/

The prime.kicks ass? Who the.fuck cares. 1080p vids on.a.tablet...yawns. The hp.screen.is only 1024 * 738 or.something so course it.can't play it.flawlessly.overclocked.or.n­ot. This.vid maybe.gd.for.show, thats.about.it.tho

@GamingFreaksHD: unlike the HP TP, the other two have HDMI connectivity. The prime can stream 1080P to TV and this is one of the reason I bought the prime.

it's cool, but I think dvd qualitty videos is more then enough for tablets, they don't have much space in them as it is. I don't think many people have 1080p videos.
