  • Good lord, though, I love that style of yours, Mr. Eriksen.

  • Tim I love this song, could you tell me what tuning you use for this? looks to me like some kind of open tuning.

  • @gageman70 the tuning is BbFCfgc -I'm pretty sure at least

  • Brilliant, only discovered you the other day and i'm just blown away quite frankly.

Any Chance of you coming on tour with Riley when he comes to the UK in November? I would also be really greatful if you could let us know what tuning you were using there. Peace!!

  • I feel some resemblance to the tune of 'Seven drunken nights', an Irish drinking song-the story is similar to an old French tale, Bluebeard.

    An interesting combination.

  • Tim, I've always wondered: Does this song have anything to do with the song Pretty Polly? They seem really similar...

Lovely arrangement! I love this song, for some odd reason.

  • what would be the chords to this song?

  • I'm curious as to what the history of this song is? I'd love more info, thank you!

  • alas a folk song where the woman says

("screw that.. I"m not going down.. your ass is !! ) I've now listened to this song now for a nauseatingly long time ;-)

    Peace.. Mark

  • Nice song, and I like the meditative contemplation of the swamp.

Interesting -- the man in the song is a murderer, yet he's honorable enough to turn his back when the lady is undressing. What's up with that?

  • this song has a melody - notes wise - that sound like 'Careless Love' ...same guitar isn't it?

  • actually now that I'm sober..I see that there's a lesser amount of similiarity between the two songs than what I thought haha.

  • @edratliff similar style and some simliar harmonies on the guitar to Careless Love.

  • Thanks so much, Tim, it's lovely! WELL worth the effort of putting up with obstreperous technology.

  • Lovely, as ever. I especially enjoyed the bookending extended look at nature.

  • Awesome stuff as always, please come to the UK, if you do I will personally buy every ticket in order to ensure viability >_>

  • amazing, absolutly amazing!

  • Tim I think this is the most amazing music! Please come and tour in London soon and let me know when you do!

  • ahhh yes. been listening to this song since I was a wee lassie...blissful sigh*

  • I like it, Tim. Thanks!
