God this game is so well animated! I mean, even by nowadays standards these are decent cartoony graphics! Two things Sonic has always delivered, great music and top of the line graphics. Looks like so much fun, despite what reviews say! Forget Sonic R, THIS was Sonic's major Saturn title! Although I must say on one last note...Sonic doesn't have 8 Emeralds... I wonder why Sega never came back to that and made a game with a mysterious 8th emerald...

@RaidShiki I know this is kinda late... but because of Japanese to English translation and stuff some Sonic games are inaccurate and problably doesnt make sense to Americans who are used to 7 emeralds instead of 4 or 8. Long story short:Translation sucks to be made. I hope this helps I guess.

Which is basically what the origional Genises game's were. Y'know, the whole thing about Sonic being a hedgehog and SEGA making it easy to attack just by curling up into a ball, using as small as an ammount of buttons possible, so basically your implying that the origional Sonic games (which are the best, considering they've been considerably shit latly) sucked.
