yo Alex. Read the books man. The master cheif was not the best spartan and they are not all dead. Linda was the best sniper, kelly was faster and he even admits it in the books. Oh and Thats the best animation ever. all I could say in the end was......wow...5 Star

I heard somewhere that the Spartan in the video is NOT the Master Chief, but a character based off of Spartan-458 "Nicole" from Dead or Alive 4. She isn't considered canon, of course.

If I remember correctly, they are published by Del Ray books. You can probably find them very easilly on Amazon or at your local Chapters book store. If they're not on the shelf, you can likely have them ordered in.

Remember that this video is a flight of fancy. It's not meant to be faithful to "canon" or even logic. It's just supposed to be fun and entertaining, a function it pulls off rather well if you don't get all caught up in the little details.

ok, no, that aint right. Not only did you show master chief's face, you made him out to be a girl. Im not saying chief isnt suppose to be a girl, im saying that I believe theres a reason you never sees his face. Its to suck you deeper in the game, your the chief, your the person in the armor, prolly with a voice masker. Nobody has the right to give chief a face, we are all the chief. Besides that, kickass vid.

Remember that we're playing with a lot of "what if" here and a lot of pure fantasy. The "canon" says that Master Chief was the last of the Spartans, but what if another out of the 36(?) survived? Once we add Samus, we're taking off into total fantasy, but that's really what this is all about. In my opinion, this doesn't make the game any less immersive or appealing, but just adds another dimension to another possiblility. Thanks for your comments!

Well, you're entitled to your opinion, but Halo isn't "reality" as such, so it's fun to play with the possibilities, much the same way fans of Star Wars or Star Trek play with the "what if's" of what can happen in their universes. You think this is way out, what about the speculations of those who ponder the USS Enterprise-D against a Star Destroyer or even the Death Star? It's just a fun flight of fancy.
