It's a nice try, this cover. I even like it a bit but it's a shame the jodeling sounds like the smurfs.

And the guitarwork isn't even near the sound of jan akkerman. The rest of the extra sounds are all digital. Focus played real instruments and did sound better.

Don't get me wrong, I do like Helloween much. But i like Focus more. lol

Ok nothing beats the original. But this cover is really nice and pretty close to it. Very well played. You have to consider the different style and skills. In some ways Focus musicians are more refined, and obviously more jazz oriented. Each Focus member is a master of his instrument, very renowned and appreciated among musicians. Helloween is heavier. You can't pretend they sound the same. Just as you can't pretend Led Zeppelin (which is great) to sound like Weather Report (which also is great)
