I've heard of a secessionist party from Alaska, but I was unaware that Palin or her husband were connected with it. If she is/was directly connected with them, that would be rather strange, since she's running for Vice President of the United States instead of helping Alaska secede from the US. Regardless, that's something interesting to think about and look into.
