How To Get More Trainer Points on Nintendogs(super easy)

i have a question............

so when you first get nintendogs the kennel only comes with so many dogs right,

well how do you unlock /get more dogs in the kennel?

@kuckipatchifan the more trainer points you get, the more you unlock. every so often, when you reach a certain number of points, a message will appear and tell you what breed in the kennel you have unlocked. :)
