There's an unreleased demo version of Let's Go floating around, that has some different instrumentation and completely different lyrics and is one of the most awesome things I've ever heard from New Order, way better than this version. Unfortunately I've never found a version with good sound quality, but how they never released a version based off that recording blows me away.
@chuto2: Its not on the Best of album, but on the Retro album. Originally it was released on the soundtrack of the movie "Salvation!: Have You Said Your Prayers Today?".
you are wrong, this song is in the best of new order. i have it, maybe you think that because there are two versions of it. you can check this out in wikipedia
@chuto2 Your right,i have both cd's... It is on the blue one, and if he was a huge fan,he'd know it too. Some just focus on being so right,it NEVER crosses their mind to actually check...
@TaylorStinnetty pues estoy de acuerdo con vos las letras de esta canción son realmente buena aunque no es mi favorita pienso que en verdad es muy buen como la mayoría de ellas
im 19 and grew up in california.. but i also was raised off alot of the factory reccords shit.. new order joy division the happy monedays the names the railway children electronic...
ironicly ian curtis died exactly 10 years before my birth. he died 5 18 1980... i was born 5 18 1990.. haha and i trip out because people say i look like him.. my gf thought it was crazy haha.. joy division were pre new order for those who dont know about the factory record label.. the first ravers.. rip haucienda!
@mjn76 Stereo field on that track is quite interesting... I can't help but wonder if it's one track routed through stereo effects or two different tracks. I suppose one could do it with a frequency filter, gate, and delay, no?

I have this song on Best of New Order but was wondering where it first appeared. Was it a single, b-side, album track? This is really a great song!
