As I noted in a post for another of his songs, anything from this album (Painted Desert Serenade) takes me back to a couple years after I got married and my wife and I had twin girls. I played the album often and it will forever take me back to that beautiful time of "beginning" our family lives together. As you said, it "moves me even now"... and I'm certain always will.

I heard him play back in 1992 or 1993 in Ft. Lauderdale. When he played this song, he explained the inspiration behind the song. He went to play at a senior citizen home and saw two older individuals looking at each other from across the room. He wondered what they would say if they would meet thus the song. By the way, they never met that night.

I have to agree, you did an amazing job of putting together this video. It was always one of my favorite songs I ever heard. When my girlfriend heard it, it took on even more meaning for both of us.
