@FitnessMinded Boo-sit. Name one person labeled as G.O.A.T. that doesn't have a cut that withstands the test of time and will get played in a club or in a jeep or car FOREVER. Name one. I dare you.
@mikejpete Let me open your mind...Pac didnt have versatility in flow? Pac had versatility in CONCEPTS.He could rap about police brutality, then hed rap about how black is beutiful, then hed rap about how he loved his mother, then hed rap about questioning religion, then hed rap about the plight of some young black woman
which one you think is more powerful? A mc that influenced hiphop,or an mc that could influence the world?
Look man...I dont think you know rap...I think your a fan..and not a rapper...I am
and aint NOBODY gonna smack the piss out of me...I dont care WHO he is
that said Tupac said in a vid that he had MASTERED rakims style, and krs,etc..and he respects them, but if they ever said anything bad about him in a song...he could destroy them...vid on youtube
if I have to go into why pac is 2nd greatest alltime...then man just STOP listening to rap right now
@Primal141 I'm calling BOO-SIT. Show me the video, provide the link. I KNOW you don't know about Hip Hop if you putting Tupac above Rakim on the emcee scale. LOL
@Primal141 Sun, I owe you an apology and I will do it publicly. I called you a liar and I will be making a video apologizing to you because you were right and I was 100% wrong. I heard the video you were referring to and my jaw dropped to the floor. Tupac must have been on that OOOOOO WEEEEE during that interview because, and God Bless the dead and R.I.P., he was out of his jack rabbit ass mind. Once again, sorry for doubting your word and disrespecting your character. ONE
@Primal141 Rakim set the foundation for Pac. In everything he ever did. Pac had no versatility in flow. He was an icon cause of his gangsta image and social issues he addressed, but Ra did and has done the same thing. You don't know hip hop. Old school or not Ra, could demolish Pac. Look up Holy R U and Lyrics of Fury.
like rakim,g-rap,krs.etc...they were the shit...in THEIR DAY!..but they cant fuck with nas, eminem, tupac, jay z and the modern era style...simple
Ive heard the old school ledgends...and Ive heard the modern greats...Im talking 90's era...not cash money bs
rakim was the best lyricist of that era..I got him 6 alltime..but cmon man..nas,eminem,pac with his emotional flow rhyming about all types of diverse subjects...they took it to another level
nah dog eminem torched jay z...and if it was tailored made for EM why you gone rap with him...nah I rank EM over jay lyrically...but I got him behind nas and tupac
mane wtf is wrong with you bro.............. JUST LOOSE.............. ASS LIKE THAT............ AND TO BE HONEST EMINEM MUSIC IS NOT MENT FOR "CLUBS" IT CALLED HE IS A REAL LYRICIST, AND HE SPITTZ REAL SHXX... HE IS REAL MUSIC, AND AS FAR AS LOOSEYOURSELF NOT BEIN ALRIGHT, U DUMB BRO!
your right about renegade. it was done originally with eminem and royce da 5'9. However, I think 'Infinite' would qualify as a banger. Or am i mistakened.
C'mon bruh....now usually I agree wit dat shit u kick but on this one....ahhhhh I can't. Not cuz I'm from Detroit but bcuz I like to hear real rappers-rap. Em makes music for niccaz dat smoke & drink at the crib, with the music playing, on dat Madden wit the homeys. So his cds, along wit Nas, Mos Def, and Dead Prez are niccaz I listen to at the crib vibe'n. But any MC spitten that you say is nice....Em will eat those niccaz for lunch!!!
he will never have a club banger/banger, he dosent put out song like that anyway, i dont think he cares about that shit, hes going to seel millions regardless without the club songs, he has the crackers and the niggers who like crackers/ and there music. it was a jay-z track from the blueprint album, i believe.
Great point Mr Holipsism. I thought I was the only person who felt this way about Eminem. While he is a great MC, I just couldn't imagine a party jumping off of one of his songs.
if mnm has no bangers for you, i can respect that... but understand that he has several bangers to millions of people of all races.

"Renegade" was a Royce 5'9 beat Jay-Z just happened to be on
And in my opinion, all of the so-called greatest rappers don't have "bangers"
So when you say "bangers", do you mean "club bangers" ?

@Primal141 Tupac is your #1 Emcee? Ok, it all makes sense to me now. I overstand. lol
If Tupac were alive and you told him you thought he was a better emcee than Rakim he would laugh in your face and probably slap the piss out of you.
MrHolipsism 5 months ago
Yeah he never made a club banger but hes still the top selling and most liked rapper around the world.
hudsonadamk 6 months ago
@hudsonadamk Vanilla Ice, MC Hammer & Young MC sold more than KRS ONE, Big Daddy Kane, Rakim and Kool G Rap put together. What is your point?

I love Eminem but have to agree. He doesn't have any bangers. Real bangers.
The verses he saves for interviews, shows, etc. are what I love to hear. It's very rare that I'll put on one of the three or four Eminem tracks I own.
All that being said; the man is insanely creative, colorful and imaginative.

I can't believe that original vid got 22 thousand views.
Again, is there another youtube video on where a Black mc's lyrical skills being questioned gets this much attention?
Lmao
