This is a issue that is long overdue for addressing ,it needed to be addressed, by someone. However the greatest down fall of our race as a whole is our pride.

this speech is bullshit!! once again, blaming fathers for everything, esp black fathers. This is quite an example of exploiting blacks for the white vote. why is he bashing black fathers? whites make up 80% of this fucking country--that equals to 240 million of them!! Fathers day is a day for HONORING FATHERS. It is not a day for politicians to exploit the black community for white conservative votes so he can show the world he can be tough on negroes. Other fathers get ugly ties and steak dinners on fathers day. Our fathers got a heaping helping of scorn from a political candidate. Cosby may had good intentions, but he was basing his info on stereotypes. Obama has personal experience whereas Cosby had not. How could Obama do a speech about father's day to a Black audience when he himself was not able to celebrate that holiday? He know now is an example of a Black man doing what their dead-beat had not, and that was the message that he was conveying. And if you watched the ENTIRED speech, you would know that Obama did command Black men who were doing their jobs as fathers!
