This IS fake. The true boot-leg version, when you're at the start menu, instead of being REDVERSION or BLUEVERSION, it's BLACKVERSION. The Pokemon don't cycle, Red's just there, holding a ball in his hand. Also, the only move GHOST have, nonetheless, CURSE. The screen darkens, your foe's pokemon shrieks in a very deep voice, and it doesn't faint, it DIES. So say the Bug Catcher has two Pokemon, you curse it, it dies, and it clearly shows that there is only one PokeBall active, none inactive.
