  • I have a question, I'm a total cake-noob. Do you have to do anything with the icing once you've put it on the cupcake? Like put the whole thing in the oven again or something.

  • @xxWarZonexx No, after you've put the icing on the cupcake it's ready. So after that you can eat it!

  • Hi,

    what's self-raising flour?

  • instead of the vanille kinda thing i used the thing u use to do gelatine, one spoonn

    they taste pineaple :D

  • wow very nice recipe!:)

    i've got a few questions,though:

-would it make a difference if i used vanilla sugar instead of vanille essence(that brown liquid)?

-do i have to use selfraising flour or can i use just regular flour too?

-about the icing; can i use butter and icing powder or should i use icing powder and water instead?

    i'm sorry, i'm just a beginner haha!

  • @xMariiam excuse me i hope ur not reffering that "brown liquid" as in terms of rasicsm

  • I tried baking cupcakes with the same recipe and they didn't come out right. I was told that I should of used cupcake flour, not self rising flour but I can't find cupcake flour anywhere nor heard of it before. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong?

  • thx so much

    fabulous recipe

    1 question though

would it make a difference if i used regular all purpose flour???

  • @bigbig741 It is a great recipe! I would use self-raising flour to make sure that the cupcakes are light and fluffy!

  • @lotsadeals thx a bunch :)

  • wtf is castor sugar

  • Castor sugar is a very fine sugar and is sold as "superfine" sugar in the United States. Because of its fineness, it dissolves more quickly than regular white sugar. If you dont have any castor sugar on hand, you can make your own by grinding granulated sugar for a couple of minutes in a food processor.
