@danwat1234 , It does take alittle bit depending on what your throwing at it. That big branch was 5 or 6 inches in diameter. Its powered by a 4 cylinder gas ford tractor engine. It has a large flywheel but thats alot of wood to send through, it would bog anything down.
@Mike3141981 , The new ones have safety features that don't let you die as easy. I am sure the blades aren't adjusted right so it really sucks it in faster than maybe it should. But it does a great job knocking down crap to a small pile.
I love the sound!!!!!!!! The new chippers do not make this awesome sound!!

OMG this thing gives you NO time if your legs or arms get wrapped around a branch ... seriously dangerous
It sure takes a long time for it to ramp back up after eating a big piece doesn't it?

It seems like the older Wood Chippers sucked the tree limbs in faster than they do nowadays.
