  • is this guy a doctor or just dressed up?

  • Thank God for the FDA for keeping the public healthy eh? hahaha what a fucking joke.

  • I just use honey or cane sugar (organic) .... I think Stevia tastes gross.... It tastes like diet/artificial sweetner 3Xs stronger than actual diet/artificial sweetner. But I can't remember if I actually used the Stevia leaf or the stevia packets they sell at the market. Agave nector looses its sweetness when I use that in something I'm trying to sweeten. But I just heard you say Stevia has a purifying effect when you put in you water... so Stevia & Lemon it is Purify & Akaline the body.

  • So can I use this as a insecticide?

  • Aspartame Ecoli Poop

Aspartame is actually excrement of genetically modified E. coli, and changed its name to AminoSweet

  • They shut down farms for E Coli but they recommend you put it in your coffee. Google this: california-regulators-frame-organic-pastures-and-force-raw-milk-shut-down-over-fabricated-e-coli-scare

  • your beast man. tell those bitches putting it in protein powder. fuckin bitches it should be abolished wtf

  • sexy doctor <3

  • Damdit.....no......not my Splenda! 1st was Pepsi had to stop drinking becuz they use aborted fetus human cells not just them, Starbucks, Nestle, and Kraft products. NOW THIS! I wish these people stop f-ing with our food! I am not a freaking cannibal.

  • ps i dont use any artificial sweeteners no "natural sweeteners". i dont really know why everyone wants to sweeten stuff or salt things for that matter?

  • funny to hear chloride is completely horrible for you its a vitamin in most multivitamins either as potassium chloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride or thiamin hydrochloride not to mention in salt which he himself states. Chloride is in your blood and has similar cellular functions as sodium calcium and potassium. just cause chlorine atoms are in something doesnt make it bad.

  • You know Stevia, when administered over the 4mg/kg daily rate, has the potential to become a genotoxin and is highly mutagenic? Sure, it's great for Diabetics as it can promote insulin production - but for everyone else, it's not worth the risk.

The daily intake for stevioside and rebaudioside (found in Stevia) are quite easily surpassed (more so than risk levels for Sucralose or Aspartame) by frequent sweeteners.

  • The only people who should be using artificial sweeteners are those with Diabetis - and Stevia is the better option for them. The rest of the population should get up off their butts to increase their metabolism and lose some weight! Though when all is said and done, Aspartame is likely the safest long-term since reaching the risk levels for Aspartame consumption is nigh impossible (you'd water-dislute your blood before you reached toxic Aspartame levels via soda).

  • I'm so glad people like this (video) post such info. If something seems to good to be true & is pushed on us in many store products, it's likely BAD for us. Why do we put up w/ lobbying that is so bad for our health?! Btw, whomever posted about "intellectus 424 diet" should be shot, in my opinion.

  • I'm so glad people like this (video) post such info. If something seems to good to be true & is pushed on us in many store products, it's likely BAD for us. Why do we put up w/ lobbying that is so bad for our health?!

  • I wonder how many Splenda representatives are attacking him... Poor guy..

  • Why are we putting up with this?

  • @SilkMeadow good question.

  • Hey there! Have you ever tried intellectus 424 diet (google it)? Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate lost a lot of weight with it.

  • Just use molasses.

  • My elderly mom get sick drinking Diet Coca-Cola with APARTAME. When i showed her the online dirt about ASPARATAME, she switched to Diet Coca-Cola with SPENDA; her sickness stoped. I personally like SPLENDA; cause SPENDA is made from sugar, without all the colories. U can tell by weighing a package of SUGAR & a package of SPLENDA. Splenda is almost weightless.

  • @AnitaCock : YOur mom felt better because she switched from one very poisonous substance to a less poisonous one. Better not to take splenda at all , or just use very little sugar.

  • What about trivia? Is that bad too? That's what I use..

  • @animallover2297 truvia is not pure stevia and is processed. it's better than sugar but pure rebiana(stevia) is the way to go if you can afford it.

  • @animallover2297 also alot of people seem to live in climates to grow their own so if i were you i would look into that.

  • OMG! i am allergic/sensitivity to nutrasweet. But I often have adverse reactions to splenda, no allergy, but the after taste is not great and it sometimes causes a stomach ache. Stevia is great, but its expensive.

  • Splenda is one of 5 artificial sweeteners deemed safe by the FDA. It tastes awesome. I'll stick with that.

  • @Brucesky02 Well, if the FDA approves it AND it tastes good, then it MUST be good for us!

  • Thank You. This information will save lives, and reduce misery. GOOD.

  • Stevia is a mutagenic genotoxin. Follow this guy's advice, and you will pay for it. There's a reason it is banned in Europe due to safety problems.

  • he's just providing information so consumers can branch out on their own and research it a little more. All in all, you have the final decision on what you put into your body. Take care of ourselves youtubers, one love

  • I'll have a burger-hold the mustard gas.

  • you look 13, put your dads clothes back kid

  • Looks like dog shit..smells like dog shit.. taste like dog shit.

    "Cheech and Chong"

  • Sucralose was born as an insecticide to find a safe alternative to what we use today.

  • How do we get this poison out of our bodies?

  • uSE sTEVIA, BUT STAY AWAY FROM THE WHITE STUFF, IT'S OVERLY PROCESSED, YOU HAVE TO GET THE GREEN STUFF INSTEAD

  • I don't drink nor care about splenda. But this is my 2nd time watching this video bcuz of your cool accent!

  • Very nice video, man!

    Thanks for spreading the information!

I got a can of homegrown Stevia in my cupboard! ;)

    -Love & Gratitude-

  • Wow this is amazing (: as a diabetic kid my mum used to give this to me... now i understand why my sugars got so out of control when i had this :s

  • what about the sweetner equal is it toxic?

  • @austinboboston1 Equal is Aspartame, Dextrose and maltodextrin. So the only difference with Splenda is that splenda has sucralose and Equal has aspartame. Aspartame is at least equally bad if not worse than sucralose. Check my video about aspartame:

    watch?v=KJ6u50GvIRw

    Thanks for watching :D

  • @austinboboston1 yes just as toxic

  • You are awesome. You are contributing to universal health with your enthusiasm knowledge, and talent.

  • thaks for sharing this ..i have used this but wont anymore :/ i recently switched to sweet and low is there dangers with that? :/ im scared to know but need to know ...stevia is kinda bitter...what other sugars are ok for dieters? and diabetics?

  • @LaFlacs Hi, I'm no authourity on healthy diets, but I'll by happy to share what I can.

Be suspicious of processed foods, always read the ingredients. The more processing, the more I become suspicious.

There is no reason to be scared to know, knowlege is power.

When we start to educate ourselves we start to take responsability over our actions. Like deciding what we put in our bodies.

    Sweet and low, definatly suspicious.

  • @trespire i just bought some stevia mixed with pure cane sugar...it helps the flavor a bit...it will take some getting used to though...

  • @LaFlacs Good for you ! That sounds like a step in the right direction.

The problem with sugar is its quite adictive, and given the opportunity most of us will develope bad habbits.

The trick is, to succesfully break out of any habbit or addiction, is to do it gradually, gently, step by step. Substitution also works well.

Yeh, stivia does tast different to sugar. Did you know it's has powerfull antibacterial properties. Works wonders on cuts and scrapes.

Good luck and keep at it. :-)

  • @LaFlacs Don't want to sound like I'm telling you what to do.

Try to reduce gradually step by step the need to satisfy the craving for something sweet. Try asking questions 1) Can I do with a bit less (one spoon of sugar instead of 2)

    2) I'll have something sweet later, soon, but not just now.

If you can find them, perhaps try some dried dates, or dried figs or some other naturaly dried fruit on the side.

The Stivia drops from Sunrider are excelant.

What ever you do, do it gradually.

  • @trespire thanks for the info ...:)

  • I bought that Splenda without doing the research - stuff made me sick. It's good for killing ants though.

    Stevia ALL THE WAY!

  • Thank you!! My sister used to use Splenda and she developed MS symptoms. After a lot of doctor's tests, she figured it out, stopped eating it, and all her symptoms went away within 2 days.

I love Stevia! I use it a lot in my recipes.

  • Would you mind reviewing acesulfame potassium?

Solid Information on this substance is harder to come by.

  • I kill the ant plagues with it. Works very well.

  • is this guy a doctor?

or is he just faking it?

  • @mrbuzzsaw he's obvisouly faking...

  • I started using Splenda for the first time a week ago. I just ended my week long experience with Splenda by vomiting for three hours, breaking out in a rash, and having the worst abdominal cramps EVER. (Which if you research it, are a few side effects amongst many of Splenda) Splenda is powdered satan. Use Stevia!

  • Stevia is awesome. Live healthy throw your chemical sweetners in the trash. A friend of mine use to drink diet pop all the time and got a brain tumor. Coincidence...perhaps but I dont think so.

  • soooo.....does stevia have any carbs?? Im type 1 diabetic.

  • @rottenpeaches92 I'm pretty sure there's no carbs in stevia. It's simply a plant

  • @torofighter sugar cane is a plant too...

  • @torofighter

Yeah, im asking because its "simply a plant"

Sugar cane is also "simply a plant"

  • @rottenpeaches92 YEAH, BUT SUGAR IS NOT GOOD FOR DIABETICS

  • @RoderickStrong there are other alternatives... raw honey (raw, not processed), molasses, raw sugar... all used in moderation. natural sweeteners are fine as long as they are not eaten all the time. processed food is not moderation. sugar, fructose corn syrup, etc is in so many processed foods! i've started making nearly everything from scratch and i've been picky with ingredients b/c my husband is a severe diabetic. good luck!

  • who ever belives splenda is healthy with out research is afucking dum ass this 10 times worst than sugar plus all those man made chemicals talk 4 it self man made not natural it does not have calories but it dont matter It makes u fatter than regular sugar. Back in some year sucralose was ban but it came back just watch the garbage they whanna feed us too keep us unhealthy if u whant sweet take brown sugar is tha best fuck splenda and all man made chemicals in food

  • Great video!!! Thanks so so so much!!! =D

  • Thank you, that was very helpful and informative. I will be advising my partner to stop using Splenda which has always worried me as it contains so much 'crap', and try Stevia instead from now on.

I love your accent by the way!

  • whoa i never eat splenda but right now im drinking 25 cal hot chocolate made with splenda

    stevia all the way

    grow it in your garden

  • so is it made with chlorine or chloride???

  • @jzlACoSTE - it is made with Chlorine. Chlorides are (in moderation) healthy and natural (IE: sodium chloride - table salt), whereas chlorines (IE: pool sanitizer) are toxic and should not be handled with bare skin, much less ingested.

  • This part of the title " Splenda was born as an insecticide!!" already disqualified this video for having any contribution thats worth watching.

  • @djteac but seems like was worth leaving a comment. Thank you and enjoy your splenda. =)

  • @LifeMattersChannel Love your presentation & your accent. And "this guy" is garbage. No good for u. lol

    Keep up the good work.

  • @djteac LOL owned! Enjoy your ball cancer.

  • @djteac people like you with closed minds never learn anything anyway.Point being it was mistakeningly made in a lab by ACCIDENT -and the story is actually true nimwit.

Ask Dr.Mercola. Or u don't like him because he's a doctor? lol loser

  • Ok, So the guy tasted a chemical that was developed as an insecticide. But then everyone in the union started using an insecticide to sweeten their coffee? Are they insane?

  • stevia was used by Indians 3000 years ago to make their food sweet

  • I used to drink soda made from Splenda.

It tasted good but it hurt my kidneys and I had to stop drinking it altogether.

  • Isn't the healthiest thing not to eat sugar at all. Or artificial sweeteners.

    Add fruit instead.

Peaches on your cereal. Raisins in your salad. Fruit juice in your sangria.

Red wine and plums cooked in pork and beef dishes.

Even that is probably too much sugar in one day for adults, unless you are running around all day like a kid. Kids burn it off. Adults just get diabetes. We should ALL be on a diabetic diet. That's really what's healthy.

  • because something is 'natural' does mean its good for you! poison ivy is natural! ultimately it comes down to the testing they have done and stevia has not been tested so far enough.

my advice; use cane sugar in very small amounts until you get use to the taste and it will taste sweet in about 3 months.

  • Stevia has not been researched enough nor has it been used extensively in different countries against different types of diets. SO far I hear of South America and Japan, and Japan is not consuming the product on mass but very sparingly.

Just because something is "natural" does mean its good for you. There are "natural" foods that could kill you because they are not meant to be consumed by humans.

Poison Ivy is natural, it certainly is not really all that good to touch.

  • thanks for the info

  • thanks for the info

  • those that invented splenda should have to step into the cage against brock lesnar and thus die

  • don't be ignorant, chlorine is in salt also, you know this, also in splenda, and is not toxic whit another molecule, of course, if you abuse of any sustance, what ever it malignance be, it can be very dangerous, any sustance even water

  • @beatryxa Hi. Chlorine and Chloride are vastly different and as such have also very different effects and behaviors.

Chlorine is the element. In gas form it's diatomic (2 atoms - sorry if I'm dumbing down, no idea of your chem knowledge).

Chloride is the ion of chlorine. It's the most common natural form, and bound up with other elements eg sodium we're all familiar with.

Chloride has important physiological roles. Chloride is essential for life. You will die if you do not get chloride.Cheers

  • @LifeMattersChannel my pool tablets are chlorine and their solid?

  • wake up, it still isn't food and never found in nature, duh

  • @beatryxa why water ?

  • @beatryxa OMG how stupid can you be?! Please refrain from posting if ur IQ is less than 30

  • I know the big processed food companies have done a lot to push people into accepting the use of sugar and other natural and unnatural sweeteners.

Fruit helps to energize and clean the body when you. body craves sweet it is asking for fruit. An apple a day keeps the doctor away folks....

  • People you have to know where you get sugar from in nature. We get it from fruit. When your body wants sweet it is asking for fruit.

the makers of spenda are smart to put fiber in it because the body cannot correctly use any sugar without fiber pushing through the intestine. so the fiber in spenda will actually make your body absorb it faster.

  • Right on, Lisa! Stay out of the middle of grocery stores and don't consume dairy either, it causes diabetes. I am living proof, one year ago I was insulin dependent diabetic, and yesterday my blood sugar tested 110 with NO DRUGS or supplements! No acid reflux, no allergies, no asthma, no joint pain- ALL GONE! What I was eating made me sick!

  • i should use whey protein supplement , but the manufacturers put sucralose into it . So what should I do ?

    Why ??????!1

  • my problem exactly, i cant find any supplements without this garbage in it =/

  • you don't need whey protein in the first place. That stuff is shit!

  • wow glad i checked this and one other one out. i stopped giving this to my children. i need to stop myself. being with diabetes i do wish i did not have to worry about all this healthy stuff but i do . can i get stevia in canada i've never heard of it till now? i sure hope so.

  • You just gotta know where to look :) most grocery stores have them (esp @ WholeFoods, Trader Joes, Henry's Market, Wild Oats) you'll find it in the supplement/diabetic section. Theres also a new sweetner being marketed called "TruVia" which is made from Stevia (I prefer the real thing) Stevia is naturally occurring and you can also get it in plant form, but it is much easier to use in powdered/ liquid form OR you can always order online :)

  • I don't trust TruVia because they list "natural ingredients" on their label but when I called and e-mailed them they flat out refused to tell me what those ingredients were...

I would stay away from TruVia... I think they're just using the Stevia name to still poison the public. :(

  • I've been using and recommending Stevia for a couple years now, sooooo much better, no aftertaste and no cancer :p lol

  • WHere do you find Stevia?

  • nice thanks for the info, newly diabetic, fighting with finding foods that satisfy the sweet tooth but don't raise my blood sugar too high.

I have stevia, I'll start using it. If only they would make a drink (pop) with Stevia, I would buy it, and stock in it!!!!!!

  • I've got something great to tell you. There is a natural diet soda called Zevia. There's no artificial sweeteners in it like Splenda or aspartame. It contains stevia and a little bit of erythritol. Erythritol is a natural sugar alcohol that is naturally found in fruits and vegetables. They have Cola, Orange, Black Cherry, Twist, Root Beer, Ginger Ale, and Dr. Zevia. Dr. Zevia came out about four weeks ago. Many health food stores don't have that flavor yet. Try it out. It's really awesome!
