ive got a 7 week old american bulldog puppy i got him in england just got to wait and see if he turns out massive like he should lol

@arnett007 Hey it doesn't matter how massive he gets he will be one powerful & athletic dog...If he gets too massive it will limit his agility and athletic ability... Just make sure you don't overfeed him trying to make him big...I made that mistake with my first AB...Have him were you can always see his ribs...Work him and run him to build his muscles...These bulldogs love to play hard...If he is overweight it will drag him down just as it does people...Have fun with your puppy...

@arnett007 yea definately do not try to make him big, he will out grow his tendons and ligaments and he will end up tearing something... if he is going to get big he will do it on his own... my AB was 95lb at 10mo and I fed him just as much as he needed to keep him comfy in fear of overgrowth.

any 1 no any websites were i can get thick chain dog leads and big spiked collars too because my dog is becoming too strong on a harness

Go to the channel: otheman62 and see how well his dogs are trained. Maybe you can get yours trained so you don't have to depend on a big spiked collar to control him. Hope things go well for you. The videos at that channel are very impressive!

@CAROLMRAMOS I agree with you 100 %...You aren't doing a dog a favor to bring it to your place to live on a chain...Where I live it's against the law to chain a dog...You need a large fenced yard for one of these dogs and they require alot of attention...

We are getting one in Sept, he is a ol' southern white out of joshua kennals and johnson,standard,and old southern white type.

The parents just got there NCL tests back CLEAR,and waiting on OFC

we are so excited and can't wait to get him pulling our kids around!!!

My male Deuce came from White Bandits and was shipped to Joshua Kennels where I got him as a puppy...Hope this helps...

Thanks THEREALABLOVER... I'm showing Deuce this year at the National Championship show and then start his weight pulling career... He a "Bull" at a lean 125 lbs... I have his harness and sled ready.. He drags railroad crossties around the yard by his teeth... all the american bulldogs I have been around are very powerful as well as the pitbull terriers... I'm planning on making a video of him pullin my F150 lightning pick-up..

awesome dogs im getting a 2 month old american bulldog on the 6th of june 2009, and it is 1.800 dollars, is that worth it? there red nosed ones and they are reg. breeders we are buying them from, and how big could a male weigh at full grown? please reply man, nice dogs 5\5

researchearth289 thanks for the comments... If the puppy is "red nose" it is a American Pit Bull Terrior and not a American bulldog... I love the red nose pits.. they are great dogs... I would guess a male could go 60-70 lbs. Deuce is 125 lbs. which is huge for a "standard" american bulldog.

researchearth289 I don't know where you live or the quality of the puppy so I don't know if $1800 is a good price... I live outside of Atlanta, Ga. and that would be high here for a Pit unless outstanding quality... Hope this helps and good luck with your puppy...
