  • Love that "Youuuuuuuu" @ 1:00 - 1:05 ..

  • To me, Dawn was the prettiest ...best singer was a tie between Terry & Maxine (Terry could hit those high notes, but Maxine had the most soul) ...My voice was more like Cindy's...These females inspired me to sing...

  • En Vogue is the greatest assembly of sexy women in music history. On top of that, they could sing their asses off.

Terry still does something to me.

  • this was the number one song when i was born... lol smh

  • Did u peep that the dude with the horn is kimora Lee's hubby...and Kenzo's daddy.

  • @Keldaminks yeah i think that is Djimon Honsou. we (Black ppl) can recognise anyone anywhere. We could racing by in a car doin 50mph and still recognise somebody(especiallly if they owe me money)..... and whoever's riding shotgun will confirm it... man i love black ppl...

  • 100% woman, all of them. beautiful, sexy and talented. What happened to all the women groups that used to be soo great. Sick of a music industry that seems to dominated by a bunch of guys screaming at you all day and singing about nothing. Give me the womens groups any day

  • @summersbr1 Sadly enough you have to blame the record company, specifically the female running things at the time for their demise.

  • bestaat en vogue nog ?

  • Happy Belated Birthday, Maxine !!

  • I remember i saw this video on break when i had a summer job at Macys in the early 1990's. I was thinking this is a start to girl power groups and immediately saw something in Dawn, she was the motivation behind the group. I recognized Djimon honsou and he actually started in music videos before he started acting!

  • 1-16-2012. She's gettin' her kicks at 46. Happy Birthday, Maxine Jones.

  • Wow just recognized Djimon Hounsou 3:08.

  • en vogue....say no more .............the last of the female group artist .full style, class, and grace..muzikkkkkkkk .

  • cud sme1 tell who is who here coz i cant tell lol

  • The bass is intoxicating...

  • HA ha Even though I was born in 1988, I knew this video and the words! lol

  • Is that Djimon Honsou?

  • @icearcice yes. that's djimon honsou

  • @5x7m come from quite far he has, LOL

  • i still catch myself humming this song, will always love and remember it. i remember seeing the video for the first time and was so inspired by these women. classy, beautiful and soulful without oversinging it.

  • I lovee en vogue even though they was around before i was bornn xx<3

  • HOW ILL LOVE TO BE EN VOUGE.ALL 4 OF THEM.

  • Wow Carnie Wilson looks so skinny here..:)

  • Woulda sounded better in this song had En-Vogue used autotune, like everybody else is doing today.....NOT...just kidding. Gosh, I miss singers and groups like this. En-Vogue, Brownstone...sigh.. Thank goodness for YoutTube-

  • great music, great vocals, genuine women... oh hw things have changed!

  • Man they never hit their full potential. They would have owned the 90s if they would have stayed a quartet. Now there's actually a good debate as far as best female group of the 90's with TLC, Xscape, SWV, etc.

  • @662chillin personally I think i gotta go with TLC and Xscape for a tie. TLC was definitely the most original and trendsetting group but Xscape was by FAR the most talented group. I mean those girls could SANG!!

  • @24Ornella Seriously, though I felt TLC was HIGHLY overrated! I'd say EnVogue, and then, SWV... EnVogue may not have had as much success after '93, but they jump-started it for alotta these female groups in the 90s ...and they brought back GOOD singing, cuz in the mid-to-latter 80s, you had alotta females that were pretty, and had great videos, but couldn't sing all that (i.e. Janet & Paula)

  • @Lashid4u i think they were overrated in the beginning of their career ('92), but truly put out good music by '95. I aint gonna crazysexycool was a great album. what other female group do you know had a semi-political song out at that time? (something wicked this way comes)

  • Does anyone know what she said at 3:50????

  • @rayshawn614 She was scattin.. Werent any real words involved lol

  • Before there was Destiny's Child, Pussycat Dolls, or Danity Kane, there was En Vogue.

  • @aeromaximon OH NO YOU DIDN'T just put DC and DK in the same category as them no talent having dolls, lol jk

  • dude on 3:46 played in Never Back Down, but awesome song, feel like Im 4 years old again

  • They can sing but man were their hairstyles bad back then lol

  • @hapibth0pel3ss I LOVED their hair!

  • damn these girls are hot miss them days when music was music

  • Miss you Mrs Kuda and the Queen City :(

  • I always thought Cindy looked like Whitney back in these days...especially in this video

  • no ,gimmicks just talent all in a very attractive package

  • I don't care about Beyonce...this an awesome jam. And men are awesome too!

  • MMMMMM CINDY. Always my fav.

  • All I gotta say is, They don't make em' like they used to.

  • Was that what chicks wanted in male dancers back in the day? I know they like looks, but they dress and dance like douches.

  • @lista2k The style of dance is very avant garde, very "vogue", which obviously matches with their name. I think that was the point.

  • Music was pure. Now its just a full fledge, SLUT. No innocence, no where.

  • Thanks for the upload.

But you ought to be careful; Oprah will have her zombies at Harpo bitch about it, youtube will bend because thats what they do, and you account will be removed.

They did it last time this one was posted.

She thinks she rules the world and I guess Google is trying to prove it..

  • Clip director also directed 'Losing my religion' by REM

  • Look at the legs on them ladies there....boy oh boy.

  • Comment removed

  • Look at Djimon Hounsou! I remember that. He's been fine for a long time. Work it Kimora! lol

  • the dancer holding the trumpet is Djimon Honsou

  • these ladies....boy boy boy :)

  • why is everybody comparing Destinys Child to En Vouge they are different with DC you only here here beyonce thats it but en vouge everybody had their time to shine

  • Awesome group.. what talent!

  • women with class is what they are. not like now a days!!! you got to get naked to sell a song no voice just a body. how we have fallen.:(

  • @SuperDownbylaw You are so right! AMEN

  • @SuperDownbylaw well said

  • @SuperDownbylaw and talented. Groups like PCD and DK are not talented.

  • @SuperDownbylaw i agree!!!!!!!!

  • @SuperDownbylaw true say..it's really sad

  • @SuperDownbylaw oh please they couldnt bend or much less do more measure their hem lines?..what those moves are to attract other women in long black robes..trust once the harnony became standard the pressure to reveil or expose your so called clASS check out other songs they were teens no different from todays..its dress up day to go to church mom ! but Yes gifted voices no doubt !

  • @beatbox11000 maby given him somthing he can feel is more appropriate i used it for my class ? a bunch of horny on looking well dressed men getting all hot for peep show style show SuperDown has fallen and can't get up it seems ..good Lord what will the critic say!

  • @SuperDownbylaw Hard to believe, but we were saying exactly the same thing then.

  • 1st video and singing and movin like real divas...BRAVO :-) 2 da old skool

  • Juba from the movie Gladiator is playing the saxophone. Now what instrument is Maximus playing?

  • no you suck!!

  • bottom nobodies- suck then suck now sux tomorrow

  • Love this beat.

  • badass harmony!!! get em ya'll lol

  • What gorgeous voices. Love the hourglass bodies to :)

  • As Lil Wayne Say`s Your Holding on 4 dear life Brother En Vogue Brother Classic Song Dawn Robinson Is Fierce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • These ladies should really get back together WOW look at those bodies damnnnnn, and the vocals are amazing

  • yes. i don't like beyonce. i'm not a hater. i just don't like her. i like original sounding voices and original non-made up looking ppl.

  • @ke467 ...Hey there, interesting you say you like original sounding voices and original non-made up looking ppl. Looking thru some interviews these divas did during their #1 reign and on thru to their eventual break up it shows that divas were strangers to each other. They were actually put together by a couple of 'geniuses'. Every dance move and smile and the way pranced, walked, dressed was made up and combineed to a T.

They became the best all time girl group.

They're split broke the mood ;(

  • @zaldivarjohn I thought TLC was the best all time group. Or am I thinking best-selling?

  • @townview33...Hey there, I have no idea about TLC ever being the best-selling all girl group, but I do know this. These 'Funky Divas' were HOT! I was in my thirties during the reign of these princesses and compared to all girl groups, En Vogue was the Best All Girl Group Ever, and that is a fact not an opinion. TLC was a bubble gum, teene bopper group. En Vogue was admired by all ages YES all ages not just teene boppers.

@kash23rd they are back together, but the mold broke once they split up ;(

  • @zaldivarjohn Aww. TLC couldve been for all ages, just not for that first album lol. But yeea you're right En Vogue had soulful voices.

  • @townview33 TLC was for kids who wanna be grown ...They were overrated, and would give this teen, kiddie look (in colorful overalls, and all), yet, would sing nasty shit like "Aint Too Proud to Beg", and "Red Light Special" ...En Vogue could be sexy, yet, STILL keep it classy! They were MATURE-SEXY (not just "fass") ...Not to mention, they could sing...

  • @Lashid4u I don't think they were overrated. It's just that they were different than other girl groups at the time. The kiddie stage was left for their first album, their other albums didn't have stuff like that. Aint Too Proud Too Beg had a certain message to it, that people mised(you did also). Plus, I'm pretty sure you have heard a freaky song before Red Light Special came out, so its not that serious. Don't have virgin ears.

  • @zaldivarjohn lol TLC had some grown folks music.. I mean cmon crazysexycool was NOT made for teens lol... But En Vogue are definitely one of the best

  • @zaldivarjohn I wouldn't even put TLC and En Vogue in the same category the only thing they have in common is being a girl group. I loved them both but they seem different to me.

  • 240p, we meet again my arch enemy

  • i might just be 14 but i love 90s music to death

  • No other all girl female group can ever touch EnVogue's class, vocal abilities, and diversity while maintaining sex appeal, harmony integrity, and that classic "EnVogue" attitude. Many will "try", but they will only end up being compared to these 4 outstanding women.

  • people who think En Vogue is for some reason more "real" or "betteR" than destinys child needs to grow up, or grown down?

  • @domotime2 or just let it go becuase it's just someones opinion.

  • I can not stop watching this (except for the dudes striking poses..I'm glad 'vougeing' died a horrible death)

  • oooh aaaaaaah

  • NOW I see where Beyonce got the videography style from....

  • I remember I fell in love with the lead singer in this video. I just loved and still do, the way she moves and her facial expressions.

  • @uTHINKu1 ...She, the lead singer here teases the hell out of us, does't she? The way she pranses, dances, sings the faces she makes hhmmm she is fiiiine!

The best girl group of all times!

    The Funky Divas.

  • I love this video!

  • That Amastad guy was in A LOT of music videos before he became famous.

  • THIS IS THE JAM!!!!!!! This group makes Beyonce and "Destiny's Child" look like a joke!

  • En Vogue is one of the best signing groups. I miss hearing their beautiful voices.

This was my song....I would sing it over and over for my friends.

  • DAMN, I miss early 1990!!! This shit makes me feel like I'm three years old all over again!

  • Omar Epps was a lucky dudeto have Cindy play his lady in "Juice". Damn, this joint came out 22 years ago! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!! They represented class and elegance

and they worked it with the simple "Little Black Dress" Yhew, the one in the middle

sho knew how to work that Dress!!!! lol. PEACE2U. ;-/

    #-Nuff Said.

  • i found out CINDY HERON is my 1ST cousin

  • @PMUZIK1 ...I looked up, which fine lady is, CINDY HERRON. By then I was falling in love with the lead singer here and to my pleasant surprise, that's CINDY! You must feel good-ass joy for that blessing. Cindy 'is' the finest of them all! It really must be sort thrilling. I really hope you meet her soon, reach out to her, shes human She will meet you.

These Funky Ladies became the Best All Girl Group Ever!

If they had stayed together they would have lasted a long long time triumphantly.Peace.

  • @zaldivarjohn I always felt Dawn was the prettiest...

  • remembering when these ladies were dripping with cool styling, love it

  • Before Beyonce turned every woman to be a man-hater

  • @justjulio123 With all due respect how did Beyonce turn "EVERY" woman into a man hater?!

  • @justjulio123 LMAO!!! wow really??

  • @justjulio123 not all woman are into beyonce.. shit Im not a fan of hers.

  • @24Ornella I am NOT a fan of hers either lol! When did Beyonce become an ambassdor or women? She hasn't done anything for women if you ask me. I dont see no charities she endorses or gives too.

  • @memdiva Lol I don'T dislike her.. But she won't get me up and outta my seat. I respect her tho. Very talented I must say. Apparently she cofounded the Survivor foundation with kelly Rowland which helps katrina victims

  • @24Ornella lol i can respect that! With all of her so called woman anthems. I just expected more charities and volunteer work lol!

  • @24Ornella Me either

  • @24Ornella Thank you!

  • @justjulio123 i didn't know beyonce had that much power, but ok, lol

  • @justjulio123

Why are women trying to a a man hater? Men and women are meant for each other and they are suppose to compliment each other.

  • @justjulio123 Beyonce just stood up for women, I admire Beyonce and I am not a man hater

  • I don't remember a whole lot about my childhood, but this song brings back a memory that makes me smile every time I think about it.. When I was younger I wanted to be a singer, I sang every thing. My brother always cringed when I did, but one day we were cleaning the house and I was seriously all into singing this song, I didn't realize until I had messed up on the last part of the opening chorus and he looked at me and said "Almost" I treasure that memory.

  • @Kamaree That memory is a keeper, because it was a True and HONEST affirmation girl u may be good.(I'm a Brother with 5 five older sisters) I know:}

  • THESE ARE THE LADIES THAT NO MATTER HOW OLD THEY GET THEY WILL BE TOP 10 OF BEST FEMALE GROUP....I THINK THEY NEED TO COME BACK AND SHOW THESE NEW SKOOLERS HOW ITS REALLY DONE

  • @1990jelly ...By what you said, it's very clear you admire these ladies. Agreed, they really were so good, they became the very best 'at their appointed time'. No one can take that #1 away from them, they deserved it. They were sooooo sexy, lady like. Sort of like Sade, and all of them soooo good looking!

I hate to break it to you, gently. They are back! Not famous or that good any more, they broke up due to one of them going solo. She didn't make it big.

Once they split up the mold broke ;(

  • @1990jelly i saw a "new" photo of them together ,oh my god, no one can tell me black cracks when i saw it.

  • What was most unique about them, is that any one of them was more than talented enough to "front" a group. I don't know any other group where that is the case.

  • damn they are some sexy ass woman.

  • 2:21-23 How you doing(Wendy Willams voice) lol

  • D'jimon lol

  • A group that didnt have to shake their but to come to fame that acted with classes my respect goes to you

  • Is this supposed to be reminding me of the video of 'What What in the Butt' by Samwell XDDD

  • i remember being a little dunn thinking how beautiful cindy {lead singer i think} was and that black dress omg still sexy to this day

  • I JUST INSTALLED THE LOVE BUTTON

  • I FORGOT HOW BEAUTIFUL THESE WOMEN WERE AND HOW TALENTED ...GOOD TIMES

  • REAL MUSIC F*@# THIS CRAP THATS OUT NOW!!!

  • the ladies look fantastic, but the men, forgetaboutit.

  • What kind of bullshit dancing is that???? too funny lol

  • They're all soooo beautiful I don't know which one to look at. :)

  • DESTINY'S CHILD OBVIOUSLY WAS A REAL GROUP BEING 1 OF THE BEST SELLING FEMALE GROUPS OF ALL TIME. STOP HATING AND GIVE DC THEIR PROPS. THEY HELD IT DOWN FOR ALL FEMALE GROUPS BEFORE THEM. SOLD MILLIONS, AND HAD NUMEROUS #1'S TIME CHANGE AND MUSIC DOES TOO.

  • lol...Djimon Honsou is in this video...

  • WORLDRECORDS WAS HERE!!!

  • yet again.Jay z stealing more rhymes

  • UnLike "Desitny's Child" In En Vogue everyone was a star.

One person didn't sing all the songs, they each were able to shine and took turns singing lead.

  • En Vogue & TLC !

  • En Vouge and Destinys Child both put their mark on Popular music These are singing sisters case and point .

  • I liked this song when i younger but i didn't know what they was taking about till now. lol

  • thiss video is too hot ! the song is too

  • Sorry But Beyonce & D C hadd nothing on themm.

  • @Moves2MoneyMusic Beyonce once said that these guys were a major influence on them. Entertainment Weekly once called them The Supremes of The MTV Generation. At least they are all still alive, drug free and although they made bad financial decisions, they are still sane.

  • Pure class all the way through - music, lyrics, vocals, harmonising - fabulous

  • DANG THE LIDER CAN SANG

  • what happend to the real music?

  • Better than all the crappy girl bands today.

  • Uh Oh Kill Itt!

  • WORKS
