Ok. I have allready asked some other guys and they say the same. I have downloaded Ubuntu but I will download OpenSUSE as well and use it as my NEW Operation System for EVER ^^. Well maybe. I´ll try it first.

@NoRestart I have both of those flavors of linux and Ubuntu seems to be the best. As with linux years ago it works good, but when it comes to printers that is where you begin to notice the weakness in it. I know since I have purchased Linux since Corel had a flavor about 9 or 10 years ago.

@EricTheHax Ubuntu came with the computer and is free, but Opensuse was purchased on DVD for about $70.00 dollars and part of that goes to the organization making the OS. Some flavor's of Linux are free, but not Linux from Red Hat, or Novell. There may be other companies who produce it free, but has an agreement with another company to sell the DVD's.

I've tried Ubuntu and it SUCKS. You know why? When I installed it everything was FINE and I love this system. Yet the problem is when I shut it down and try to run it the next day. Then an error occurs and it won start up... I've reinstalled it but it keeps starting up with the same error... EVERY FUCKING TIME. So I'll try out Fedora and OpenSUSE... I really hope that OpenSUSE will work without any problems... well at least not at start up...

@NoRestart I had it on a netbook computer I got from Dell in 2008. It started just fine and worked fine, but the printer setup is the problem. It shut down just fine for me. The problem in my case was Dell not putting in a drive large enough to let you store anything.

@NoRestart Right now I would say that Ubuntu is better and will be around longer. OpenSuSE could end up like Open Solaris with it being discontinued since Oricle has the patent rights to Solaris and said they won't support it.

I dunno. The OS looks pretty gay to me. If you want a 'light weight' OS, Linux has plenty of solutions for that. What we need is a robust scalable OS that grows with the technology.

I mean look at Windblows. They STILL don't have true multi-monitor support after 30 years. ATI had to come out with it themselves--not something a video card manufacturer should have to do themselves. Ridiculous.

fuck linux... its over rated for being light weight but it's a free piece of shit when it comes to installing things and not having a variety of stuff that is mai stream. Linux is not any better then this... this OS has a lot to prove.

But that's not the point, I agree that it's a crappy system. It's just that Windows is worse.

Well, i would hate to disagree with you but I believe there is a few versions of windows that I rather use then Linux, any day of the week...

For me, I do graphics and video production. Linux is only a nerdy free operating system for people who like to brag about how bad windows is and how much more then can get from a free crappy operating system. You are getting nothing but homebrewed software... I rather use fucking DOS then Linux.

yes, Windows 7 Ultimate or Pro work incredibly well. The others aren't worth the trouble. This Google OS is more of an application than anything else.
