It's both drama and comedy.

It's based on a true story too... and the place is in north-east Japan, about 50 kms south of the Fukushima power plant. "Hawaians", the theme park they created, was closed because of the tsunami damage, but reopened very recently.

I liked the part where the girl danced for her mom when her mom walked in on her to give her the package.

i love the movie but its funny because some of the dances that they dance isnt hula... its more of a mix of tahitian and ballet.
