I'm not really a christmas tune lover, but this one is awesome and can be heard anytime whatever christmas or not! It's the only one in that field! Thanks for posting it!
I listen to the songs from this album YEAR ROUND! This is quite possibly the greatest work from Phil Spector and will always be a classic. I wish that this particular song got more air play, as it is one of the best on this album. Any one song on this album is better than anything else which has come out in the last ten years, with the exception of Amy Winehouse.
Thank you graciasong for posting up this great quality sounding gem.
When Bobby does that run at 1:37 - 1:41, singing "and so my beloved", it tears at my heartstrings man'.
God bless you Charles and thanks for sharing the beautiful words about your Pops. He was a music icon and a friend to me, since 1989; but I loved his body of work since the early days.
i try not to post stuff when my dad is involved, but all of the post on this page moved me to tears,i have alot of memories with this song, and the best one was when i would try to get dad to sing this in his clyde voice (which he hated to do,but did and sounded great),i miss him alot and im glad that you guys think highly of him.
I can't hear that fade-out enough times, simply fantastic!...with Hal Blaine going madass on drums. I got used to the vinyl version, which has a different (IMHO better) intro but a much shorter fade-out. . This is my favorite cut on the Christmas Present For You album. Thanks for posting!!

Bobby usually took a backseat to the girls. But he shines on this one. What a great voice.
