It seems like it was a for long time he played the guitar. A lot out of rythm with the wrong picking. Or maybe he was drunk. Probably I would have been drunk too at a garden party.
@HunterMann I agree. They probably should have studied my band's new Peter Gunn video before trying to perform this. You don't want to change classic songs like this too much. We took the time to learn the parts correctly and it shows.

If you're in the LA area this weekend (July 15, 2006), there's a mega surf rave up at Safari Sams. Davie will be on the bill with the Insect Surfers and the Boardwalkers! Go! Travel! Be There!
The songs from the "Devils Angels" soundtrack were great - stuff like "Hole In The Wall," "Hell Rider," and "Devils Angels Theme." It'd be cool to see vids of those (you never know). :)
I have some tunes by these guys on an old '60s movie soundtrack LP for the movie "Devil's Angels" (biker flick from back in the day). GREAT album too.
I first heard the opening to 'Footloose', then here comes the Gunn. Mr. Allen plays how he wants.
