don't use a whole egg, just use 2 tablespoons of it... it would make it perfect!! and for the chocolate chips take 3 tablespoons... if you have a normal sized Hershey kiss just take 5-6 depending on how much you went it to be creamier (6) or not (5)... i recommend melting it in the mug before mixing it with any other thing...

Can I use hot chocolate mix inplace of the cocoa?

dont add cocoa add more vanilla extract and you got urself vanilla cake. =/
