MSL looks beautiful and ya she is RTG powered you can see the pack on the back of the rover, I guess spirit and opportunity thought nasa a lesson not to relay on solar power :)
Curiosity is cliché and they didn't need a kid to help them pick out that name... NASA could've drawn that one out of a hat themselves. But you have to admit NASAs motive to incorporate the youth of today into decisions for the future is pure genius.
Thats really cool. I'm happy nasa is embracing social media more now. youtube, twitter, ect. Projects like this only make kids more curious. well done nasa.
yay for lenexa, where part of lenexa does that gurl live

Kids don't see the stars anymore. So this is quite rare.

Why, Djeezes? Do you think there's something wrong with kids' eyes?
bumslug 2 years ago
Too much light pollution. If all lights are out, you'd see about 2000 to 3000 stars.

Great name! I think a lot of people have misplaced that which is the original motivation for all exploration: Curiosity.

Looks young but sounds pretty intelligent.
IMO they should send more of these things to Mars than just one... I hope it succeeds.
