  • omg.....no!!!!!!! you still young n cool to die...you so kind n a great warrior nobutada.....you can't die.....:(

  • its sad for a father to see his own child die.

  • NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU !!!! WHYYYYY !! *dramatic scene* T^T

  • Japanese are brave

  • Japanese guys are so hot in long hair!!! ;)

  • for the sake of his father

  • 1 samurai = 10 gunmen

  • @junyboy5 No, 1 Samurai > 10 Gunmen.

  • i keep replaying 0:30

  • not nabutada!!!! he was my favorite!!!!! if he siurvived i think he wuda pwned near the end..and at the end of the movie wen they had that whole war thing they cuda like ambushed em from the back, but yeh this was sad..

  • without question the best scene of the film. it's so powerful and you couldn't ask for a better score. hans zimmer nailed it. bushido. probably spelled that wrong, but u get my drift.

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah i almost bawled!!! THAT is a true warrior!!!! those idiots were cowards backed up with stupid gunpowder............(he really looked hot when he was shooting arrows in the beggining)

  • Very gorgeous in person-saw him ride by in a car in the Cherry Blossum Festival in Washington DC about a month ago

  • Hey really is so fucking hot!

  • this scene stil makes me cry... though I've this movie for many times now. shiku shiku

  • he is fucking hot.

  • I have sooo cried during this scene... I love Nobutada and is courage. A real samourai until the end... CRY

  • A true warrior til the end

  • this scene always makes me cry. ToT

  • how come one arrow in the gut makes you fall down and go boom but getting shot 9 or ten times takes forever to take effect? fake! and corny!

  • 'fall down and go boom'?

  • cuz the ppl with guns are pussies and the samurie are beasts

  • most likely he was shot in the hip

  • I was hoping Nobutada would get up close and personal with those imperials when he drew his swords, but man did he own before he met his end. Killed alot of those guys.

  • Ken and Shin do a great job as father and son in this scene

    I was almost crying

  • 2:33 is where I officially fell in love with Shin Koyamada:) He is BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • omg~ i did too X] his eyes <3

  • no more "Jolly Good" from him =(

  • This is indeed a very touching scene but my tears really flowed when Algren knelt before the emperor and said "order me to and I'll gladly end my life" after the final battle. Its like, he finally bought in to the teaching. Wow.

  • wow i cried through this movie starting at the seen where nobutada's father helped him stand up

watching this movie really made me see clearly that samurai were one of the most loyal to thier people and to their ways bushido

now i feel very proud to be of samurai ancestry

  • The whole reason why Japanese war criminals commited so much attrocities is because of this crazy "Samurai Code".

Bushido is more intense brainwashing than Stalin's sacrifice of 35 million lives to save USSR from the Nazis

  • yeah but the kamikaze took the bushido in the wrong direction. they tried to use it for taking over the world. while the samurai used it to protect they culture and ways of life. the samurai didn't want more they were content with what they had

  • This is such a touching scene. Putting your life down to protect the ones you love. I cried when I saw this.

  • i remember crying watching this scene....now i'm crying again -__-;;

  • Definately the best and worst part of the film. I cried so much, I really liked the character who laid down his life so valiantly for the sake of his friends. Nobutada RULES!!

  • waah Nobutada!! TOT

    he's great warrior!

  • this was the saddest part of the movie, such a touching scene!!

  • The most sad but powerful scene in the film..What Great film

  • do the gun guys never reload?

i wouldve thought those guns would fire slower than bows back then

  • Does anyone know the name of the song that's playing as Nobutada gets killed? I think it's deep!

  • @Aakino~ "TO KNOW MY ENEMY" by Hans Zimmer

  • best scene

  • amazing what the samurai do to protect their honor and i know this sounds crazy but i would do the same thing

  • we all would...

Honor is kinda like Self Respect, nowadays thats

    the only thing thats left.....

  • i love him...^_^

  • apparently Koyamada is descended from Samurai himself, if true, this must have meant a lot to him...

great death. except the fact that he didnt even get to decapitate any of them with his katano

  • Nobutada was an honorable Warrior like Katsumoto and Ujio.

  • Shin Koyamada<3

    *tear*

  • I love orlando Bloom!! I also love Shin Koyamada. Leave my Orlando alone.

  • What a good retainer.

  • Why oh why did they have to kill him. To be honest, he could've played Legolas in LOTR, but no they had to cast that arseface tosspot twat Orlando Bloom. Don't get me wrong, I totally love the film, I just don't like the fact that they cast that dyke Orlando Bloom.

  • that was a really good scene in the movie. so sad. Shin Koyamada acted really good.

  • "it was a good death"

  • jolly good

  • aye

  • this part is so Sad :( poor nobutada!!! poor katsumoto :(i feel bad that he had to die by the gun. so SAD!!!
