Overspeeded landing, high pitch, bad touchdown, late reverse thrust, late touchdown, hovering. Maybe if you work on those things you can be a good pilot, other then that awsome :)

omg 0:31 wow that bank angle is way too much i think, good you notized it ;) and at final you make too much flare ; you should fully youre flaps and speed down a lil bit, also you set the flaps and gear too early. but besides all of that it was a nice landing :D it was moan that you forced the plane up like at 4:15
Wouldnt worry about the gear and flaps, as long as the speeds were correct, its of little relevance. The Touch down wasnt too bad, well within the first 1/3 of the runway and not a too high a pitch attituted. the Flair prior to touch down could have been corrected with some throttle and not so much pitch, but the touchdown was very good. Not a bad vid at all.

Yea, the approach actually started from taking off a few mins before from Miami, and before flare I noticed the aircraft was dropping altitude so to try and stop me from landing before the runway, I had to raise my nose a little, however it was more than I probably should of, thats the main reason why I flared steeper than before. Thanks.
I understand that the gear and flaps were down too early. The airport was a bit further than what I expected it to be. And I understand also that my touchdown and flare was quite bad. And the smoke is what happened when I recorded the flight using the FSRecorder, the smoke was later than it should of been, just a software problem, not with my landing.

not nesaserily you have to hit the reverse thurst after having the nose gear down ..you get hit the reverse thursther before sometime it depends of the landing speed and the lenght of the runway
I thought that you lowered you nose wheel down prior to reverse thrust. But I might be getting confused with timing. Thanks for the comment. Also I have recently learn't the flaring technic. I will soon be making a video of me landing over a year later. Just to see how I have improved.
yeah it is pretty hard to use reverse thrust before you put the nose gear down, the timing is bc you have to try to balance the aircraft on the main wheels and at the same time try to activate the reverse thrust really quick
I thought you did pretty well. It's not easy landing a 747, or any plane for that matter. I'm curious, I have FSX, where can I get airplane add-ons? I have the standard airplanes that came with the installation but nothing fancy like BA, Delta, United, etc...

God that SUCKED. First off, WAY too much bank at the begining. Second, you are coming in way too slow. No way you sohuld be using that much flare. Third, get on the center line. I agree with the comment below... I'd hate to be a passenger on that flight. Use the flight lessons within FS. You need em.

I will say it again. a, depending what mood I am in depends how my landings are b, my approaches vary from landing to landing, and I was flying originally with a default 747 then in fs recorder, recorded it and then used another model of the 747 to get the BA texture as I didn't like the original ones and I needed a virtual cockpit to land, or prefered a VC.
My landings are somtimes good and somtimes bad. It depends what type of day I am having and lots of other things like if I am getting a bit bored that day and just try and land or if I am enjoying it. That flight, I simply took off, then recorded the landing.
ur turns are very extralimited from a 747 , i think that u must be turn with a little less of pronunceition because when u are so close to ground and with this TAS u easil could fall in stall, good luck with that
my 747 used to stall too, so i tried a lot of times to see what i was doing wrong. It was the low speed and too much inclination. Do you set the flaps to 10? dont pitch up too much and put in automatic pilot as soon as you can. If i'm wrong please anyone correct me.
how do i ever make my plane turn on to taxi speed. i always make a greeat landing wand when ever i try to taxi to the gate i am always to fast by overthrusting or to slow by not realy thrusting at all so there must be a way for a right taxi speed.
Yes, it was FS2004, scenary and airport are default and aircraft, I flew it using FSRecorder in the default 747 in VC then in a British Airways texture, I replayed in. It was done by FS Recorder (you can google it). Thanks for the comment.

That was a problem with the recorder and things I used. When I first did the landing while recording it in FS, not that movie the smoke came at the right time but it all sort of went wrong and somthing didn't work right but its just a recorder problem. :) Its ok appart from that.
