Its NEVER as good as OoT, MM or TP in my opinion! And not because of the grafics, although the grafics could be a lot more beautiful. I think their is nothing to experience (like Kakariko, Gerudo Valley,..) and the atmosphere is too "happy". In OoT you knew every time that the fate of a whole land lied in your hands, but in SS you just finish one after another tempel :-/ The greaat music of OoT and MM alone makes them to the best zelda games. I'm a real Zelda fan but SS disappoints me somehow :(
Twilight princess is still my favorite, I did like skyward sword, but the overworld was to small. nothing can beat good old hyrule feild, not even the sea, or the sky.
man games havent advanced much in 5 years, I hope theres some kind of breakthrough cos its nothing but sequels..i remember when games like smash bros or viewtiful joe were plentiful...original concepts from developers without a fear of budgets or sales

@NonSilentKiller Oh, you couldn't be more wrong. I never look at score when I choose my games. I play games people think suck too. But I like them.
However, what I meant was that all the scores from different gaming entitites has deemed Skyward Sword better than OoT. And the same can be said about the general public. People like this better than OoT, even though they love OoT with all thier heart. Skyward Sword is just the better game in this case. There's no avoiding it.
@Superjocke92 actually I'm talking out of my ass because I haven't played SS yet, but I'm hoping against hope that it's as challenging as OoT was. I've been patiently waiting for a challenge like the Water Temple from OoT since... well, since the Water Temple from OoT. I have high hopes, but I'm not holding my breath.

This game is called Skyward Sword, because the game play is the main feature, and is awesome. After played skyward sword, I don't want a realistics graphics Zelda anymore these one are gorgeous, I can't imagine other zelda game within the motion plus gameplay. The items are awesome, and feells great to use them.
@NonSilentKiller Oh, and if you like a game with real hard puzzles, then play Professor layton, or portal 2. In Skyward sword, in hero mode. the dungeons are the same, the difference is that theres no hearts in grass or pots, you can only regenerate with potions, the enemies are stronger and their damage is increased. when i saw the trailer i thought it's not as good as ocarina of time or even twilight princess. But after i played this game it's the best zelda game or even the best game ever made :)

The visuals are nothing like Windwaker's...I'ma throw a cow through a window next time I hear some dork say "it's like windwaker graphics mixed with twilight princess'"...because 1st of all, we get it, it's been said in EVERY video on YouTube probably, 2ndly, only the character models are vaguely reminiscent of Windwaker's cel-shaded style. The environments/scenery are more like Twilight Princess mixed with something new (NOT Windwaker).
Not that any of this matters, but damn...shallow-minded.
i have a feeling im not gonna love the wii u's zela as much as this. the graphics dont need to matter. these are fine with me. i have more fun staring at the games art than blowing ppls brains out, let alone playing this game
@Nick59093 Why would better graphics matter? If the game is good then it is good. It will be nice to see solid shapes rather than pixelated diarrhea and have an over all better experience. Nintendo needs to catch up or else nobody will buys their stuff. Only reason I have a wii was for this game. If the wii u steps up then good. Other than that I buy my 21st century tv's to have 21st century tech. Nintendo better blow my socks off. The E3 Zelda has givien me hope. It better be like that.

@Moshata the 3D efect on zelda sucks pretty bad i don't use it the 3D is good for plataform type games or beat em ups like street fighter 4 open world games just makes you cry if you play with 3D on and gives you head injuries and sick why do you think they dropped the price ? everyone has afraid of using 3D and turn it off sometimes looks like a DS :\ the graphics of the console looks like gamecube one even wii has better performance I'm so pissed because of the library games on wii...

Zelda is fantasy, thus the graphics don't need to be spectacular.
I'd trade graphics for gameplay/plot nay day. Hence why I did not buy an Xbox. I played on my friend's for years, didn't find a single game out of 23 that compelled me to buy it. I liked SOME, but not a whole lot. PS3 had some good ones though.
Stopped playing Zelda after Wii release, partially because I didn't buy a Wii, but mostly because you know the game will never be better than Ocarina of Time/Majora's mask and perhaps never even as good as Windwaker. Seriously, in my opinion I would rather purchase a fresh Gamecube and buy WW. They should of swapped platforms 0.0

shut the fuck up, oracina of time was possibly the greatest game EVER made, not just imo, but in the oppinions of many magazines/websites and its graphics are bad compared to those of games like fable, oblivion, or (forgive me for comparing this to a zelda game) call of duty.

@Moshata I Would like to see the ocarina of time with these graphics it's very awesome i have it for 3ds but i can't play more then 2 hours because my eyes starts to have some crocodile tears -.-' it's too small i would like to see it on the wii with these graphics. the time of the handhelds is coming to an end everyone uses smartphones and ipods it's hard for nintendo and sony now.

@Moshata the 3D efect on zelda sucks pretty bad i don't use it the 3D is good for plataform type games or beat em ups like street fighter 4 open world games just makes you cry if you play with 3D on and gives you head injuries and sick why do you think they dropped the price ? everyone has afraid of using 3D and turn it off sometimes looks like a DS :\ the graphics of the console looks like gamecube one even wii has better performance I'm so pissed because of the library games on wii...

People, stop bitching about graphics. if you're REALLY a gamer of wide variety then you should know the equation.
Game = fantasy
Fantasy = unrealistic
Unrealistic =/= realistic graphics
Zelda is fantasy, thus the graphics don't need to be spectacular.
I'd trade graphics for gameplay/plot nay day. Hence why I did not buy an Xbox. I played on my friend's for years, didn't find a single game out of 23 that compelled me to buy it. I liked SOME, but not a whole lot. PS3 had some good ones though.

Stopped playing Zelda after Wii release, partially because I didn't buy a Wii, but mostly because you know the game will never be better than Ocarina of Time/Majora's mask and perhaps never even as good as Windwaker. Seriously, in my opinion I would rather purchase a fresh Gamecube and buy WW. They should of swapped platforms 0.0
