  • why are you screaming dude?

  • Thanks Sir, I have been doing 'beginner' version of these. I will now go lower and try harder. Thanks again. Good video.

  • Watch your line of pull, feet need to turn forward in order for the quads to be in a straight line of pull.

  • Thank you. I have never done any reps of that kind. I researched squats it is said to be one of the next best things to walking. Since I hurt my knee I have walked but it doesn't seem as effective as this, so, as of today I will start doing 5 mins of this, 3 times a day,

  • No no Mr. Ripped, Thank you XD oh yeah your kinda ripped by the way but I'm not gay its just noticeable XD

  • Check out my videos 15 year old 400 pound power sqaut.

  • vince del montes father?

  • Wow.

  • i keep falling over. Why?

  • @googoplexable you dont have enough balance or you dont have enough strength in your legs

  • @tigerXxlover123 thanks xxx

  • @googoplexable it could be a lack of flexibiliy or a lack of stability. To figure out which, lie on your back and bring your knees into your chest. If you can get them all the way to your chest it's a stability issue. If you have someone to help you out, have them hold a wokout band behind your legs and pull the bar towards themselves and awayfrom their midline. As you squat push out on the band to engage the stabilizing muscles and try to get all the way down til your butt touches your calves.

  • LOL... exactly how wide DO you think your shoulders are??? :P

  • Holy crap I can actually do this o.o

And it's working lol, thanks for showing me proper form, I thought I was doing it the wrong way, but apparently not according to your video :)

  • Nice, I just started these. I try to go as low as possible to the ground to transfer my weight to my hamstrings. I might've overdone it though, because in the past 30 days I have done over 1700 squats. lol

  • Thank you so much for this video! I tried so many ways and so many suggested postures and i could never do the squat properly. My heels would lift the ground and i would lose balance and fall backwards.

But i can do it just fine with your method! Thanks a lot!

  • Thanks a lot, you really helped :D

  • how many squats and how many reps for a beginner? thanks.

  • hes old but hot

  • Thank you!

  • Thank you !

  • Why is the leg press a sub-standard exercise??? Doesnt it do the same thing as squats?

  • Doesn't do anything to your midsection.

  • @hakametal Squats utilize over 250 muscles to perform, leg press takes a lot of stabilizers, upper body, midsection, and back out of the equation. I am not a muscle or fitness expert and I could be wrong, always do your own research. Squats for President, Deadlifts for VP :P

  • @hakametal squats reign king over all other exercises, what artisticliscense said is 100% right, it excersizes much more then a leg press does.

  • Thanks alot man! Your video helped a ton!

  • Everyone remember, your ass and hips move first. Your hips move backwards before your knees bend, and your ass must drive UP when you come up. This becomes essential as you start lifting serious weight with it.

  • Very well put

  • thanks for the vid, im currently looking for vids on proper form, its difficult to keep my knees straight but i guess thats why its part of a workout

  • sorry never did squate before, what is useful for? leg?

  • @starmoon937 bum, outer and inner thigh and calf

  • @starmoon937 Useful for:

    Quadriceps

    Gluteus Maximus

    Adductor Magnus

    Soleus

    Rectus Abdominis

    Obliques

    Squats are awesome.

  • @starmoon937 a body builder told me it's the best excercise you can do, will help you with a full body workout and weight loss also.

  • This isn't very helpful, I think this guy just made this video to show off his gym junkie body and talk a little so he can hear the sound of his own voice.

  • You're a douche.

  • @robbyocean why?

  • Comment removed

  • dont they say to keep ur legs shoulder length apart?

  • Salhafa plz help

    I,m 6 ft tall,55 kg,19 yrs(highly underwieght)

how many squats, pushups, shall I do,how many reps n sets and how many times in week.

I have just started weight training

  • @bulllsize 55 kg??? damn m8 lol

  • should you use spray-on or UV tanning before doing squats?

  • rotfl

  • lmao

  • how do i get my knees from going over my toes? should i try an exercise ball?

  • Are your knees suppose to be working along with your hips and thighs?

  • i think you need to review the video and look a little closer.

  • Hi, would you have the correct posture according to the video if u have flat feet?because my knees can really be sensetive to the uneven pressure on my feet and messes up my balance.can u give me further instructions to keep balanced.

  • Great but your back rounds a bit at the bottom, stretching would help that, check out the 'squat rx' series on youtube, the author of that series talks about this quite a bit.

  • i'm not really sure what you're looking at as it is quite clear the heels never come up. also, if you really pushed your heels down you'd feel it in your hams/glutes. the quads have little to do with the proper execution of the squat.

  • Nice form for the most part, but on the way up your heels look like they're off the ground a tad. My quads feel better stimulated if I push down on my heels when I drive back up.

  • Great tips.. THANKS! And it's obvious you don't need any help since you look GORGEOUS from head to toe!

  • sure..that's the proper form...it takes flexibility at the hip and strength in the lower back to maintain the proper position. as a matter of fact, it's easier to keep your knees from coming forward when you get to the proper depth.

  • Is it possible to go all the way down and still be able to prevent your knees coming over your toes?

  • Totally going to do this^^ nice muscles btw :O i'm jalous xD

  • You are gorgeous and very helpful. From Chicago!

    Thanks!

  • Thank you! This is perfect.

  • Great video!

  • Great vid man, keep it up, i was under the misconception that i couldn't do this exercise but it was cus i rushed into weighted squats without perfecting my technique, now I am much more confident with this exercise
