Kyle Busch only got 4 wins in 4 years at Hendirck, while he has 19 in another 4 years at Gibbs. Casey Mears won his only race with Hendrick on fuel milage, Vickers won one race by wrecking two other people for the win with Hendrick. I'm not saying Junior is amazing (kyle is clearly better) but calling him less than mediocre is useless.
Mark "The Kid" Martin is a class act. Clean driver, respectful to other drivers and the fans, nothing but nice things to say in his interviews. Other drivers need to take a cue from Mark and maybe they will have the respect that Mark has from the fans and drivers like Tony Stewart

He's on the New England Patriots of NASCAR teams (HMS has 5 championships in a row, 9 among active drivers, they're always in contention) and he's a consistent underperformer on the team. No one wanted to see him win more than me because I want him to be successful for Rick Hendrick, but at some point you start to wonder if it's time to just let him move on.

@MrBurney12 I agree, JJ has gotten the edge for a while for whatever reason and I think Jeff could beat JJ in even cars. But JJ races for consistency and Gordon races for wins, in the end consistency produces more championships. But really (for me at least) it's about HMS as a unit, I defy anyone to name a more successful NASCAR team. I like seeing both of those guys (Gordon and JJ) do well, and I'd love to see Jr. join them, nothing would make me happier, I just doubt his abilities.

@Kordovaner If he was like that but produced results I'd be totally fine with it, but he really just doesn't. He's on the New England Patriots of NASCAR teams (HMS has 5 championships in a row, 9 among active drivers, they're always in contention) and he's a consistent underperformer on the team. No one wanted to see him win more than me because I want him to be successful for Rick Hendrick, but at some point you start to wonder if it's time to just let him move on.

@MrBurney12 I agree, JJ has gotten the edge for a while for whatever reason and I think Jeff could beat JJ in even cars. But JJ races for consistency and Gordon races for wins, in the end consistency produces more championships. But really (for me at least) it's about HMS as a unit, I defy anyone to name a more successful NASCAR team. I like seeing both of those guys (Gordon and JJ) do well, and I'd love to see Jr. join them, nothing would make me happier, I just doubt his abilities.

@grgmys Well if you look at it this way... Mark Martin has the same equipment Jr had in 2010. If you notice Jr's 2010 stats are way better than Martins 2011 stats. Jr was just plain terrible in 2009. Theres no exscuse for that. He sucked. 2010 I dont even know.. It was a mix of Jr and Lance McSuck.

But I have to say in being a Martin fan since 1989, to my knowledge this is the only time I have ever heard another driver speak poorly of him. As for teams, when you look at racing you can't use the dictionary definition of team, racing has an altered team strategy.
