  • this was in February 1956 so Desi would've been 38 b/c his b-day was in March.

  • @megamanmaniac Maybe that's because the actors today arn't as good as the actors back then.

  • God I wish someday they would bring back these shows, instead of the juck they all TV

  • God, what ever happen to those show,s

  • "You're not a politician and you're from England?!"

You can definitely tell that this was before the British invasion.

  • John Daly..... was a no talent ZERO who never did another damned thing !

  • @LilChuckyWoodenHead He was Vice President of ABC in the 50's, and for CBS the White House Correspondent, and was the first national radio reporter to announce the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941 - hardly a man who never did another damned thing.

  • he said he did it with lucy? HAHAHAHA!

  • Randolph Churchill, as we know, is Winston Churchill's son.

  • @albalonybalony He was a total jerk to his father, too!

  • Desi had an awesome GREAT sense of humor. Loved him. I think he was a nice guy.

  • "He said he did it with Lucy?!" LMAO Desi was hilarious!

  • OMG- he was only 45 - that's sad.

  • Seems a nicer guy than his father.

  • "I Love LOOSELY"...Bwahahaha! XD

  • He was born in 1911 so he was only 45 on this show. He looked more like 65. Must have lived a hard life. Drinking, smoking, etc.

  • are you talking about randolf churchill?

  • he was born in 1917 xD Lucy was born in 1911 lol

  • I don't think Randolph was a dissappointment . . his parents did their best to raise him. He had some first rate qualities. How do you live and walk in the shadow of a great man like Churchhill?? Everything you do would be compared to him and found wanting . . .Winston definitely had his faults!!

  • Desi was always underrated-he was very talented and a great actor; just watch him in I Love Lucy.

  • i agree so much!!

  • Yes, i know for myself and i think others too, we were always so focused and attentive to what Lucy was doing, Desi's acting talent and timing were not as apparent. But the talent was definitely there. He was a wonderful actor--it would have been so apparent if he wasn't, being up against the talent of Lucy and the others as well who were right up there. Fred and Ethel were excellently cast.

  • i agree! i love him!

  • Randolph was a disappointment.

  • this show would never have worked so good w/o John Charles Daly.

  • This must've been very early on 1956...Fred Allen died on March 17 of that year of a heart attack.

  • Maybe it's because I've never watched "I Love Lucy" very often, but I never realized Desi could be so funny on his own!

  • He certainly looks like his father.
