Hoss, I didn't think life was worth living without unlimited carbohydrates. Looking forward to eating them was my escape too. No different than cocaine to a coke addict. Once I got past the physical craving that ingesting carbohydrates causes, those food fantasies vanished. It never occurs to me now that life would be better even for a few moments by eating carbs. But I know if I ever chose to try that route again the whole cycle of craving and obsession would return. So one day at a time.
I am right here with you on the sleep. I try to go to bed at 8 but with bootcamp I've been getting to bed around 10 or 11 and it's killing me! You are doing really well and sound so confident. Hope you had a great walk.
I appreciate the getting early. The tiredness is catching, and that's the one problem of boot camp. So much information to impart and so little time to do it. Sleep however is crucial part of weight loss.
Like I said, Chinese food is a trigger for me too. That is why I had to find a Mongolian BBQ where I could load up on Chinese flavors and sesame oil with plenty of meats and veggies. If there is one by you, I highly suggest it just watch the sauces.

What kind of crazy person DOESN'T love chicken fried steak?? Haha... But I agree, I tend to think of food as a fun event, too. It's a bad habit.
