  • I've been using neutrogena for years. it's def one of the best skincare lines out there.great video :)

  • wow you look so gorgeous!

  • New subbie! U should try "jergens all purpose face cream", this cream is for deep cleansing, softening, moisturizing, u can also use it to remove your make up, and it also provides u with a dewy base for your make up! it great! love it!

  • @MakeupbyAlli Do you use any serum in your skin care?

  • Any lotions that have collagen are duping the customers because collagen cannot penetrate the skin. It's just sitting on top of your skin like any primer does.

  • LOUD!

  • @iloveshoes1111 I've used rosewater toner in the past and really liked it! The only thing is I got it from a spa. Is there a more accessible place to get it?

  • wow ur so pretty !

  • wHAT CAMERA DO U USE?PLZ RESPOND?

  • omgaah , i totally gotta get that neutrogena wipe whatever thing !

  • LOVE Neutrogena! Great video!

  • You have such a natural look I love it!!! I am subbing, I love your vids:) Check out my newbie channel??? Keep up the good work!

  • wow my skins exactly like urs!

  • your so pretty

  • I love your videos. You are so down to earth and natural. Definitely one of my faves to watch on youtube.. Would love you to check out my channel!

  • New sub! Thanks for the great video! Joules

  • have you tried the Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser? it is amazing!

  • Hi, Ali. Since you're such a fan of Sigma products, I thought I'd ask... Have you tried their Cleansing & Polishing tool? I've been looking for something like that and would love your recommendation!

  • Just subbed :)

  • have u done makeup tutorials for fashion televison? I swear I just say u on tv

  • you look like juliet from gossip girl =)

  • Your skin s amazing I wish I could buy that at the drug store!!

  • @dimplechops88 aw thank you but it's really just the camera "smoothing" everything out. You should see me when I wake up in the morning..YYYIKES!

  • Our skin is like the same! I get like once a month breakouts around my chin. It seems like the normal skin is the hardest to figure out!

  • The neutrogena grapefruit product ruined my skin completely, it pretty much actually burnt my skin so badly which took a long time to come back to my normal skin. I do have kind of sensitive skin but I am just stating what happened to me.

  • OHMYGOODNESS,ARE WE DOING THIS ANIMAL TESTING THING AGAIN?! SERIOUSLY. FOR THOSE who are SO against animal testing. JUST GO AWAY, OMG. we dont need to see your comments, okay? ive seen about like 100. why are you saying this on her video, go bash loreal or something not her.

  • @julieeforever You and I think a lot alike LOL! I get really upset seeing those types of comments especially twoard someone like Alli! I understand they are passionate about not testing on animals, but they shouldn't be shoving their beliefs down other peoples throats, and saying they're bad people just because they use a couple of products that test on animals. That DOES NOT determine someones character IMHO. Like you said they should be going after the companies NOT her!

  • Finally a Skin Care Routine with Inexpensive Products Thank You (;

  • @BarbieCheetah1 very welcome!

  • I love all of your videos, you are beautiful! Your skin is so pretty...do you use sunless tanners? You always have a pretty golden glow! If so, what do you use? Thanks!

  • you should try the Befine Night Cream! it's not very heavy and it's all natural products and it does wonders for your skin. you wake up with you skin feeling silky smooth! and you can find befine at ulta in the drugstore side. also try out their brown sugar exfoliator. its AMAZING!

  • @lbgirlie707 Thanks for the rec! That has me curious I'll have to investigate...

  • Hey girl! LOVED this video :) Every time you talk about a product I want to run out and grab it! Haha, which is exactly what I'm planning on doing tomorrow. Your skin looks beautiful, as always. Hope you're doing great! XOXO

  • @dbunny29 Heyyyyy!!! Thank you so much! This is so crazy.. I was just thinking about you earlier today and wondering what you were up to :) I hope all is well and let me know if you try anything I'd love to know your thoughts! <3

  • awsome

  • Great video. After watching this video, I'm going to check out Neutrogena skin care.

  • hey girl! ever thought of doing outfit of the days?! i'd love to see them, you seem you have great style!

  • @jeche226 Thank you so much!! I've been getting so many requests I'm definitely going to start, does this mean I can't wear sweatpants while filming anymore? lol ;)

  • No, you don't want to use Baby Oil.... Its pure mineral oil which clogs the pores!! :/

  • you look exactly like Katie Cassidy! your so pretty!

  • You remind me of Spencer from Pretty Little Liars ♥

  • @cocooliveeyes lol when i clicked on this video she kind of reminded me of hanna from pretty little liars: however her voice is so similar to Spencer ! :)

  • Some good advice on this video :) but you shouldnt be using acne products on a normal/combination skin!!! Its too harsh you can softer products for your skin type that is prone to break outs. Dermalogica daily microfoliant would be better :) Love the Vids (Y)

  • Turn your volume down guyz haha :D

  • @weheartcupcakes Yea what's up with that? It sounds fine on my computer but I always have my volume turned down anyway..I'll try to figure it out ;)

  • @weheartcupcakes im workin on that haha ;)

  • The vid is really cute and interesting if that makes sense :) I used to get problems on the tops of my cheeks until I figured out that I was reacting to some of the blushes that I was using! So I would just use one for a couple of days and then see if it got better or worse while using it and then after w/o that blush and I havent had that problem ever since!...I hope that helps a little...:)

  • You are just too pretty!

  • I use a rose water toner. It is alc free. It leaves my skin feeling so soft.

  • Thanks for sharing all these great drugstore skin care products. Next time I need to restock I will check out the neutregena line.

  • Your lashes look longer? Are you wearing fake ones or have you been using something new?

  • I never really knew what to call my skin type but you described it perfectly and now I know how to combat it. Thank, you.

  • I'm lazy allll the time when it comes to washing my face. Who wants to 1. pull their hair back and pin away any flyaways, 2. get a towel, 3. get your cleanser, 4. wait 10 years for the water to heat up, 5. wash your face....nahh. lol. But I do it because I break out all the time. And I'm afraid to try anything new all the time because I just assume it'll break me out more! You've inspired me to think about checking out new make-up removing ideas/cleansers though..

  • where did you get your necklace?? Love it!

  • @min891013 its in the bottom bar, its always listed there

  • Your "everyday" eyeshadow looks are so pretty! You should do a tutorial including a few of those... and the one in this video :P

  • You posted this at a perfect time because I need a new cleanser for my acne so thank you! :) BTW, what kind of camera do you have? I need a new one so I'm trying to do a lot of research so I can get the right one and yours is very nice!

  • You should try avene cleanceK cream gel, they have new formula, it is great for blemishes, amazing product.

  • you are so prettayyy

  • That face wash scrub is my favorite. I have used it since it came out and everytime i try to switch i always go back.

  • What mascara are you wearing?!

  • Makeup tutorial please!

  • I can tell you that products such as Aveeno, Neutrogena or same Garnier are really not good for the skin because they contain alcohol or perfume. Alcohol is generally too strong for the skin, specially for people with dry skin.

Products with SPF can't be used at night.

  • Your hair is gorgeous!!

  • Your hair looks great lately!

  • @singe409 Thank you!!

  • ive been using the loreal day/night LOOOOVE IT!

  • Can you explain why you don't just use the cleasing products for morning and night? What's the difference in the "pink" face wipes and the "blue" face wipes?

  • @dalston1533 The blue ones remove your makeup AND cleanse, and the pink ones just cleanse away dirt and oil, as far as I can tell from the packaging. I don't use the blue ones in the morning cause I don't have any makeup to remove. Kinda confusing, I know ;)

  • olive oil is by far the best make up remover.

  • I've been using Olay foaming face wash for years and I love it because it removes all my makeup and cleans my face without having to use makeup removers, pads, ect, and I mean it removes all my mascara and my black liner in the waterlines. Its fantastic!!! p.s it says faom but comes out like gel and really lathers. :-)

  • what camera do you use, Alli?

  • @littlestvoicexx Samsung Full HD HMX H200...How I remember those numbers I'll never know haha...

  • maybe you could actually DO something againt that, instead of just commenting videos on youtube.

btw i really like your makeup in this video :))

    <3 xxx

  • Would you recommend any of these products for sensitive skin? Love the video btw!

  • @coachlover095 Thank you! I'm not too sure about that cause I don't have very sensitive skin. However they haven't caused any irritation for me...sorry hope that helps a little bit!

  • spf 30 always any dr will tell ya :)

  • If you like simple check out cer vae for night lotion. Has hyaluronic acid to draw moisture into skin! ;). Cheap find at drugstore too!!

  • Hi Alli, I appreciate that your skin care routine is pretty basic and affordable! I will definitely look into some of these products!

  • @rmglitz1986 Cool! Thanks for watching!

  • Where can I get the collagen lotion? I need Now!!! lol

  • fashion video!!!

  • I've been looking to switch my moisturizer, so I'll def. try the Loreal one, given the benefits you've noticed from it.

I was going to try the Aveeno when you mentioned it before, but then I went to Costco and they had Borghese purifying cleanser for only $7, even though the brand's cleansers are usually over $30. I am so impressed with it, it gently but deeply cleans my skin, has a non-drying and silky soft mattifying effect, & really calms my skin to where there is no red. My skin loves it

  • I tried the night time moisturizer and it made me greasy, but I have combination/oily skin.

  • How old are you? Just wondering.

    Love the video! <3

  • @BeautyByJuliaN Thanks! 25 :)

  • Your face features are gorgeous :) Your eyes are soooo bright, and your smile is perfect. Love your videos!

  • Of course I personally pity the animals which r used for the product testing. And therefore I prefer not even to think about it. But those who cry out that it's soooo bad, may b these ppl can use all the products without even testing? Or take some pills which r actually also tested on someone. No chemical product can b used on a person not being tested somehow before! It's bad that poor animals suffer but r u ready to take pills and products without testing?

  • @tsunami5910 - you're ignorant

  • @CarbonInTheCrease I don't think she/he is ignorant, it's just a fact. My friends who took those courses also says there are no other way to test the product if it works such as pills. Before you say I'm ignorant, which I'm not, just FYI, I love cats and I have 7of them including 3kittens. So, will that makes me a bad person? I don't think so.

  • @NotDoriyuckey - you certainly would be ignorant if u owned animals and then used products tested on animals. you care enough about your cats to love and protect them, but fuck those other animals?maybe they could use a little love and protection too. your cats are no better than lab rats, monkeys, bunnies, beagles, ferrets, mice and all the other countless animals that are tested on. i understand testing is the way of the world.all i'm saying is it's wrong and turning a blind eye makes it worse

  • @CarbonInTheCrease I didn't say that I use 100% products that test on animals, I do try my best to find products that do not test on animal but in our market there are not much products that do not test on animal. Is that my fault too? I don't think so. I know testing on animals is wrong but there's not much we can do. We can spread the words however while we do that, the companies still do what they do. So instead of putting our thoughts here why not we send some mails to the companies? :)

  • @NotDoriyuckey - There IS something you can do. Don't buy from companies who test. Have some morals. And you said instead of putting my words on here, I should mail some companies? Just an FYI, I do that EVERY single day! So don't talk when you don't know the deal. It's because people just say "well, there is nothing I can do" that the world is the way it is. For you information, there are more companies out there whom do not test, than those who do. Most of which are vegan or headed that way.

  • @CarbonInTheCrease ....You are a very RUDE person...may You should keep your opions to yourself! Maybe you should take some time to think about yourself instead picking at what everyone else is doing. I think you are jealous....

  • @makeupjoy1 - oh, you mean like your minding your business right now? haha.

  • @CarbonInTheCrease YOU ARE AMAZING

  • @emilymariehigh - thanks!!

  • @CarbonInTheCrease Didn't you read what I wrote? "I TRIED". Yes there are many companies don't test, why not you put yourself in my shoes. From where I am from, we DO NOT HAVE THAT MANY CHOICES. Is that hard to understand? Even vegan products also hard to find here. I would love to support 100% against animal testing but I can do very little. I do constantly ask my family & friends to buy products that do not test on animal. at least I try even though I don't do much compared to nothing at all.

  • @NotDoriyuckey - damn don't cry! there is NO excuse! if u can't find a "not tested" product don't use make up. don't try! do! make the difference.

  • @CarbonInTheCrease Nah, not gonna cry because of your words. Doesn't bother me at all. Just enjoying myself talking to other people. Just want to know how others responded to me. Thanks for the experience! Now I have something to write on my life report. FYI, I do not use much make up, just skin care & household products that do test on animals that bothers me. You do help me understand a little more bout animal testing. Thanks.

P/S; Our debate isn't that negative at all. Thanks a lot! :)

  • @NotDoriyuckey - Well, I'm glad our debate made you think. It made me think too, about how sad it is that people in other places don't have complete access to untested products. I am in no way trying to be mean, even though it may seem that way. I am just VERY passionate about animals. My Facebook is covered in petitions and I make calls to places daily trying to get the world to change. Thanks for debating with me! No hard feelings! <3 Where are you from, anyway?

  • @CarbonInTheCrease I understand, the way you commented does shows how passionate you are! You are great at what you are doing and I wish you all the best! :D

I'm from Malaysia. Currently I'm searching products that do not test on animals. I'm very pleased that the new skincare I'm using do not test on poor animals. Only household products is the main problem now. Most products I found are international companies and rarely ships internationally and being a student makes me value money :/

  • @NotDoriyuckey you are an idiot.

  • @emilymariehigh oh you think so? thanks for your opinion. At least I can improve myself. I don't think I am an idiot though I'm not the brightest among all people I ever known in this world. FYI, an intelligent person do not go around and tell other people he/she is an idiot. :)

  • @tsunami5910 Maybe they should test them on willing humans. Humans can make the choice. Not animals. It's not for me to say that my life or any of my needs are worth any more than another living being who suffers.

  • I love this necklace! Unfortunately it is not available for the German market. If anybody knows where I can get it from - LET ME KNOW!!!

  • I love your makeup!

  • I've been watching a lot of your videos I love them, love how you break everything down, love the vids!! Your Eyemakeup is Lovely!

  • The Fight & Fade gel is face crack! I owe my life to that product! I don't even wear foundation or concealer anymore because my skin is so much clearer and my scars are so faint.

  • @miss4nando hahaha face crack...love it!

  • what eyeshadows are you wearing?

  • @Jujigurl6 Virgin, Sin, Sidecar and Hustle in the crease, from the original UD Naked Palette

  • You're doing it right girl! You certainly don't need a fancy skin care routine. What you put into your body is really even more important. I also think stress is one thing that ages people more than anything else! Great video! I always discover something new from you! Thanks!

  • @DISCOKITTY77 Very welcome! Thanks for the thoughtful comment :)

  • I think your skincare routine is fine but if you are going to invest in one good product, get a good eye cream. Trust me! I'm 40 and have been using the best eye creams since I was in my 20's and am so glad I did! People always think I look a lot younger than I am! Oh, and make sure to always use sunscreen on your chest! Love your videos, Ali!

  • @CharlotteSophiaSF Thank you!! If you don't mind me asking which eye cream do you use? Sounds like good stuff haha...

  • @MakeupByAlli Eye Creams - my all time favorite brands are MyChelle (found at Whole Foods) and Kiehl's, Ole Henriksen is new and has some good stuff out now (found at Sephora). Maybe start off with Kiehl's. Get a very rich one for night and a lighter one for day. Always go for the Anti-aging ones! You will be so happy you did when you get to be my age :) And don't forget the sunscreen on your chest every time you go outside. Wrinkly old chests are soooo unattractive! Love ya Ali!

  • your eye makeup is so beautiful! which shadows are you wearing?

  • You're so beautiful :) And i love all your videos, they're so helpful. I've learned so many tips from you. You're so genuine too. Keep up the good work. <3

  • Pretty please do a tutorial

  • I use the grapefruit scrub too haha it smells so good!!

  • Baby oil is a great eye makeup remover. Super gentle and comes off instantly! :)

  • @rashieroo Great tip! I've heard olive oil works well too

  • @MakeupByAlli actually you should only use baby oil sometimes when u wear alot of makeup because it has mineral oil in it which is really bad for your skin and mightt make you breakout...:)

  • @MakeupByAlli olive oil is better for your skin too :)

  • @rashieroo Yess baby oil is amazing

  • @rashieroo I use vaseline! It is a fantastic makeup remover!

  • @rashieroo

    doesn't it sting your eyes?

  • @rashieroo i agree, i have a huge container of baby oil from the target brand up&up! i love it. i also have combo skin so its really nice

  • you're my favorite youtube person to watch! always so helpful, and youre actually perfectt!

  • since your such a neutrogena fan, try the oil free makeup remover liquid its amazing and it lasts longer than the pads! and its not greasy

  • Alli, are you wearing the eye makeup look from your "Smokey" Lash Effect tutorial??

  • @chiseoulite nope but it's kinda similar :) actually some shadows from the original Urban Decay palette

  • @MakeupByAlli which colours!?!? its looks so fresh and clean... I love it! Thanks for such a great vid!!

  • @ccalling87 Thanks so much for watching I'm glad you liked it! Pretty sure I used Sin and Sidecar all over my lid, Hustle in the crease, and Virgin as a highlight..

  • love your jacket!

  • Thanks for posting this! U look very beautiful like always :)

  • Can u plz this make up tutorial

  • Thanks for sharing the products you use that work for you;) You look beautiful by the way!!

  • Sponsored?

  • @jadenkim34 haha nope :) there would have been a disclaimer in the "more info" section

  • I use alot if garnier products

  • I use the garnier cleansing towelettes and I don't have to use a separate eye makeup remover. They work just fine.

  • Dear Alli, you have to try out the Maybelline Baby Lips lip balm!!! I got it a couple of days ago and i instantly noticed an improvement in my lips! Give it a try, i think you will love it :)

  • Dang shes really pretty

  • your eye makeup is gorgeousss !! tutorial ? (:

  • you are so gorgeous alli! you would fit the golden ratio! :p

  • can u do a video talking about ur hair color? u look gorgeous in this video!

  • I think that you look like Keira Knightley(:

  • I actually like how you use these drugstore products because they are very easily available and inexpensive. Your skin looks flawless so if I were you I'd just stick with these products and save the money instead of buying high end stuff but it's up to you :):)

  • kumbayah my Lord, kumbayah; kumbayah my Lord, kumbayah! Sing with me! Let there be peace among the comments once more!

  • @emmaociee good luck!

  • Can u do a tutorial on this eye look please? :)

  • I use the same Garnier Foaming face wash & the Garnier Moisture Rescue lotion as you. I also bought the Garnier Gel Lotion..all 3 are AMAZING! Love them :) I would love to try the 2N1 towelettes..those look easy. lol

  • Does anyone else notice that she always stops mid sentence to swallow. Haha I'm so weird I guess but those pauses stick out to me. O.o

  • @csizzlebby i notice that....;)

  • @csizzlebby Haha I was reading this comment just as she did it, lol. So yes, now I notice, lol!

  • forget about the animals!! you eat them anyways!!

You're really pretty and those products work really well! :)

  • @smalone21 i don't eat dogs, bunnies, or cats...

  • there is nothing wrong with standing up for what's right, especially when someone is posting a video that might influence thousands of people to go out and support a company that tests on animals!!

  • I'm super confused. How come you guys aren't commenting on every other yt beauty video out there that uses animal tested products?? why is this the magic "I'm againts animal testing" video???

  • @gernert09 do those products say "not tested on animals" or do they say "finished product not tested on animlas" ?

  • on a lighter note (when looking at all these comments)...i love your necklace !

  • @sbest100 thanks!! :D

  • @julieeforever amen sister, people are making this video about something it isn't. She never said "please give me your opinion on animal testing and tell me how terrible I am for using products that may or may not test on animals". I'm glad someone is with me here!

  • @annedevlin09 yes, agreed! all the way. i dont know why they are informing us here because we all know about animal testing. I mean, I am against animal testing. but why tell us here.. what difference is it going to make.

  • Who cares if they test on animals!? Nobody. You all just want a reason to feel important and like you know some big secret.

  • Comment removed

  • THUMBS UP to show who her REAL subscribers are. I know that you are against animal testing and so am i, but this gives NO reason for anyone to hate on her just because she uses these products. It sounds like you're basically saying, if you own anything thats animal tested (MOSTLY drugstore products) to just throw them out. Seriously MORE than half the beauty gurus use animal tested things. if you are SO against it, GO hate on someone elses video. not hers.

  • @julieeforever Thanks for the support! Very much appreciated!
