I don't like the fact that they ripped off so much unecessary stuff from Halo. They could have made a vehicle that didn't exactly look like a Ghost, or the Mongoose, yet handled the same way, to avoid similarities. Making an exact duplicate and maing something completely different takes the same effort if you start from scratch.

@Watzitoya Don't even look like a ghost. I don't see those large wings like a ghost (more like dolphin flippers on here), don't shoot blue laser blasts like a ghost (I don't think the ghost had missles, either, did it?), it may have the metal look of a mongoose, but it don't have wheels. Basically, it's not even much of a copy of the ghost.

@bob51ism They did it to get more players buying and playing it. They didnt get a big hit with the first one and meant that it was because of the price, lower prices means more people who buy it to try it.

High prices can scare people away if they arent sure about it.

@Sinnlosx01 It does but it is a bit like Battlefield too and I think its an awsome game with cool features. At least Section 8 was. I dont know about prejudice yet but I hope for a good experience. + its only 15 dollars so its worth trying out.

@Juandingodotcom Do you even realize how fast they're running? In a ton of armor? They're trying to keep it semi-realistic. As opposed to this game, where they have super robot suits in the future where all money is allocated to research and materials for the military. :| (Nothing against the game, though, really; can't wait to play it.)

@Futil1ty Halo did all of that I personally didn't care for it, but I do like how you can drop from orbit in this game. I wonder why they didn't do that with ODST?

@BEOWULF9965 Well, the drop pod in ODST is sort of automatic in a way, and it was only needed once for the beginning of the campaign. Doing it over and over again in Firefight just wouldn't have made sense.

If anything, it's more like if the battlefield had a kid with halo and tribes, plus maybe a bit of TF2.

@WirlWind494 yea but shields, and wtf look at the vehicles.... its a Sci fi game they were able to create new wierd looking vehicles, and those in this video look 95% like the halo ones

@Sinnlosx01 halo wasn't the first ever game with shields. And infact, you can penetrate the shields at close range, so they're actually different to the halo ones.

As for the vehicles, how else can you really do a hover bike or a jeep? Even if its sci-fi, doesn't mean you have to go crazy and make a pink and black jumbo monster-truck jeep just to avoid "it looks like halo a bit".

And also, this game has mechs and tanks.
