Those are very large brown trout. It appears the angler is fishing DePuy's Spring Creek which flows into the Yellowstone near Livingston, MT. While DePuy's does have good fishing for 16" - 20" browns and rainbows I have a strong suspicion that these very large browns have entered DePuy's in the fall to spawn. Fishing for spawning browns is okay as long as you aren't harrassing the fish while on the redds or in the act of spawning.

These are all spawning fish up from the Yellowstone, the areas shown are covered with redds each fall. Not good...
