@UnholyRenton In some added scenes in Kh2 final mix Xemnas goes to hollow Bastion and talks to aqua's armor in a secert basment so he probely got the location from that

Im getting chills just listening to this song lol but i realize that it was aqua who seal the keyhole and turn LOD to CO of all the Geniuses and COM was not easy to beat either she was trying to save her friends but she created a living nightmare for sora riku and me i hated those cards should have did command style can't wait for KH3 Kingdom Hearts is awesome
I hope in future games you can freely visit Castle Oblivion and depart from there. I don't want it to be Cutscene only as in BBS or Days, but I neither want to be stuck there like I was in Chain of Memories...

i cant belive that the land of departure looks like this when Aqua closed the keyhole and it caused Sora, Roxas, and all their friends so much grief and no one can get through safely except for Aqua. I like how it takes 5 games for Sora to even figure out that he wasnt just chosen randomly.

i remember first starting this game, and castle oblivion, the music sounds like your walking down a very long hallway, and the closer you get to the door, the more endangered your life becomes.
I don't know why, but if i had to choose anywhere in all of Kingdom Hearts to go, i would choose Castle Oblivion, i love how it looks and its awesome how its is the Land of Departure after being reformed.
SPOILERS: Considering what I now know about the origins of Castle Oblivion I can now sense the eerieness of the empty shell that was the Land of Departure. Sorta makes you think that Castle Oblivion is the Land of Departure's Nobody.
@MultiFridgeman you're both wrong.... {SPOILER} Actually after Ventus defeated Vanitas his heart like Vanitas said vanished after Ventus destroyed the X Blade but he didn't really vanish he's resting in Sora's heart which enabled him to have a partion of Ventus's powers allowing Sora to wield the keyblade he's also still in Castle Oblivion in a room were only Aqua knows were it is and as well a spoiler the reason why Riku didn't get the keyblade because he let the darkness consumed his heart.
Technically, it was Namine making Sora and co.'s memories fade away, not the castle itself. Otherwise, the Organization would have begun to lost their memories when they started working in there.
ppl claim TWTNW is the "Nobody" of all worlds, but TWTNW actually does exist. i mean, i know most of the nobodies and the organization are gathered there, but it never was any different or was never destroyed or transfigured in any kind of way. Not like Castle Oblivion at least (formerly Land of Departure). the land of departure was once home to all keyblade wielders-in-training and was once beautiful and serene. but now its become a disfigured empty shell of its former self (just like a Nobody)

Around times of Birth By Sleep, Land Of Departure got destroyed. Aqua (Female Keyblade Master with blue hair) made Castle Of Oblivion from pieces of Land Of Departunes castle. So, in other words, Aqua tried to rebuild Land Of Departune, (Or atleast I think so) but ended up with Castle Of Oblivion. Take a notice, that this happened WAY before first Kingdom Hearts. That's all I know.

His body merged with Sora's, because he was very sad and Sora opened up to him to listen, and agreed to let Ventus sleep in his heart, so he wouldn't be sad. That is why when Sora became a heartless, his nobody looked just like the other boy in his heart. Even though Ventus shouldn't be awake, a small part of him did, his body. And Roxas had feelings even though he was a nobody cause Sora's heart had the strength of two hearts. One for the nobody.
wait... if ven's heart was inside sora... could it be that roxas is actually ven's nobody?
I mean, look at lea and ïsa. they turned out the same as nobodies as they did as somebodies. maybe when sora stabbed himself with riku's keyblade, ven's heart was lost and created the empty shell: Roxas. Roxas looked like Ven, but also had ven's heart. so when sora and roxas became one, sora could use 2 keyblades.
Just speculating here, nothing official. still a lot of gaps to fill @_@
@Multifridgeman as far as I know, it's not exactly like that. My theory (even though yours has a good point, too) is that since Sora's heart is like 2 in one, when he got a nobody it could also use the keyblade, because ven also had one. when xion was made out of most of Sora's memories and self, a bit of Sora's keyblade went to xion, but she also needed to kind of take a little of roxas's keyblade's power to summon her own at will. It was only a fake because SHE was a fake. An incomplete key.

the dark part of ven looks like sora, and i guess the dark part of sora looks like ven.
but xion was made from sora's memories of kairi. it still eludes me how kairi came to be able to weild a keyblade, let alone riku obtaining one for her.
xion was only made of sora's memories, not just kairi's. she looked alot like kairi because sora loves her and has a lot of memories from her. She also looks like Sora himself to most people. Kairi could wield a keyblade because if you playd birth by sleep as aqua you see a scene in radiant garden where kairi goes to aqua afraid of the unversed, and touches her keyblade. Since aqua sort of "accepted" her to do so, and aqua protected her, she can wield one too
no, only riku was chosen by terra to wield a keyblade. aqua thought about choosing sora, but she had sensed that terra had already done riku. the spell she cast on kairi was to take her somewhere safe whenever she was in danger. that came into action when kairi lost her heart. aqua's spell made kairi's join ventus in sora's heart until sora released his own heart to save kairi.

Dude, don't feel bad. I played on beginner, and I really couldn't beat him either. Then I went back and started a new file to, you know, see if I could pick up any tips and when I got to a save point....well...I saved over my own file.....*sniffles* I had to play the game over again. But I must say, the second time around everything was a lot easier cuz I took my time and leveled up. xDD
If youre still stuck, get some new cards from Moogs. Or level up repeatedly.
@dixtremo Well I don't know who built it yet but the whole place was a pain in the ass. The card system, the changing rooms, the repetitive memories from the first KH game...
Being locked in there forever would likely be the equivalent of Hell, especially with all the Heartless around.

I believe the castle is supposed to be a representation of Aqua's grief over losing Ven and Terra. That's what all the doom n' gloom is. The flower motif is Marluxia's redecorating.
@Tc24Him64 Perhaps. But I think KH3 may be divided into segments or multiple storylines. First part, rescue Aqua and Ansem. 2nd Part, raid Castle Oblivion, get Ven. Finale: Get Terra his body back from a resurrected Xehanort.
This music is very omnious, how very appropriate for this game of kIngdom hearts. This music reminds me of the ways of Fate and Destiny, I can feel the seriousness from this music. It's very intense.
This music is one of the reasons why i love KH and SquareEnix games.
And when i hear this song on my iPod or when i'm playing in Castle Oblivion on RE:COM, i just stop Sora and put my TV volume on max, and start hearin this song, that almost blast my TV speakers, but i don't care, cos i love it!!
And i don't know how to describe this music, but i sure know 1 thing!

the kingdom hearts chain of memories manga is so funny its worth the read, some events have been changed but the story gives the 6 organization members more depth to their characters

This song makes me think of Oblivion it's like the mere theme of Oblivion.. the kh series has some of the best music.. ever.

@MultiFridgeman you're both wrong.... {SPOILER} Actually after Ventus defeated Vanitas his heart like Vanitas said vanished after Ventus destroyed the X Blade but he didn't really vanish he's resting in Sora's heart which enabled him to have a partion of Ventus's powers allowing Sora to wield the keyblade he's also still in Castle Oblivion in a room were only Aqua knows were it is and as well a spoiler the reason why Riku didn't get the keyblade because he let the darkness consumed his heart.

Technically, it was Namine making Sora and co.'s memories fade away, not the castle itself. Otherwise, the Organization would have begun to lost their memories when they started working in there.

ppl claim TWTNW is the "Nobody" of all worlds, but TWTNW actually does exist. i mean, i know most of the nobodies and the organization are gathered there, but it never was any different or was never destroyed or transfigured in any kind of way. Not like Castle Oblivion at least (formerly Land of Departure). the land of departure was once home to all keyblade wielders-in-training and was once beautiful and serene. but now its become a disfigured empty shell of its former self (just like a Nobody)

@RaZ28079 castle oblivion had a heart though (a keyhole) just like the land of departure the world that never was didnt have a heart or a keyhole it relied on memories to stay intact it was world trying to become complete a nobody world and i'm pretty sure when riku and sora fought xemnas the world that never was, was destoryed back into nothingness

Around times of Birth By Sleep, Land Of Departure got destroyed. Aqua (Female Keyblade Master with blue hair) made Castle Of Oblivion from pieces of Land Of Departunes castle. So, in other words, Aqua tried to rebuild Land Of Departune, (Or atleast I think so) but ended up with Castle Of Oblivion. Take a notice, that this happened WAY before first Kingdom Hearts. That's all I know.

@PokeKoopa A better explication to it: Master Xehanort almost destroyed Land of Departure with the power of darkness, and long after that aqua remembered what master Eraqus had told her: if he was struck down and there was nothing left for this world, she had to take his keyblade and turn this castle into a place where no one will remember ever being there when they leave, no one, except her.She put ventus in the room of awakening of castle oblivion so his heart could sleep safe (out of letters)

His body merged with Sora's, because he was very sad and Sora opened up to him to listen, and agreed to let Ventus sleep in his heart, so he wouldn't be sad. That is why when Sora became a heartless, his nobody looked just like the other boy in his heart. Even though Ventus shouldn't be awake, a small part of him did, his body. And Roxas had feelings even though he was a nobody cause Sora's heart had the strength of two hearts. One for the nobody.

wait... if ven's heart was inside sora... could it be that roxas is actually ven's nobody?
I mean, look at lea and ïsa. they turned out the same as nobodies as they did as somebodies. maybe when sora stabbed himself with riku's keyblade, ven's heart was lost and created the empty shell: Roxas. Roxas looked like Ven, but also had ven's heart. so when sora and roxas became one, sora could use 2 keyblades.
Just speculating here, nothing official. still a lot of gaps to fill @_@

@Multifridgeman as far as I know, it's not exactly like that. My theory (even though yours has a good point, too) is that since Sora's heart is like 2 in one, when he got a nobody it could also use the keyblade, because ven also had one. when xion was made out of most of Sora's memories and self, a bit of Sora's keyblade went to xion, but she also needed to kind of take a little of roxas's keyblade's power to summon her own at will. It was only a fake because SHE was a fake. An incomplete key.

the dark part of ven looks like sora, and i guess the dark part of sora looks like ven.
but xion was made from sora's memories of kairi. it still eludes me how kairi came to be able to weild a keyblade, let alone riku obtaining one for her.

xion was only made of sora's memories, not just kairi's. she looked alot like kairi because sora loves her and has a lot of memories from her. She also looks like Sora himself to most people. Kairi could wield a keyblade because if you playd birth by sleep as aqua you see a scene in radiant garden where kairi goes to aqua afraid of the unversed, and touches her keyblade. Since aqua sort of "accepted" her to do so, and aqua protected her, she can wield one too

no, only riku was chosen by terra to wield a keyblade. aqua thought about choosing sora, but she had sensed that terra had already done riku. the spell she cast on kairi was to take her somewhere safe whenever she was in danger. that came into action when kairi lost her heart. aqua's spell made kairi's join ventus in sora's heart until sora released his own heart to save kairi.

Dude, don't feel bad. I played on beginner, and I really couldn't beat him either. Then I went back and started a new file to, you know, see if I could pick up any tips and when I got to a save point....well...I saved over my own file.....*sniffles* I had to play the game over again. But I must say, the second time around everything was a lot easier cuz I took my time and leveled up. xDD
If youre still stuck, get some new cards from Moogs. Or level up repeatedly.

@dixtremo Well I don't know who built it yet but the whole place was a pain in the ass. The card system, the changing rooms, the repetitive memories from the first KH game...
Being locked in there forever would likely be the equivalent of Hell, especially with all the Heartless around.

I thought the card system was a little lame, because you could lose them if you weren't careful and then lose the battle.
But there's nothing more lame in Kingdom Hearts than the Command Board. That stupid fixed shit of a minigame always gives me nothing but headache.

I believe the castle is supposed to be a representation of Aqua's grief over losing Ven and Terra. That's what all the doom n' gloom is. The flower motif is Marluxia's redecorating.

Throughout the whole game(i have the GBA version),I was like this:

@Tc24Him64 Perhaps. But I think KH3 may be divided into segments or multiple storylines. First part, rescue Aqua and Ansem. 2nd Part, raid Castle Oblivion, get Ven. Finale: Get Terra his body back from a resurrected Xehanort.

This music is very omnious, how very appropriate for this game of kIngdom hearts. This music reminds me of the ways of Fate and Destiny, I can feel the seriousness from this music. It's very intense.

This music is one of the reasons why i love KH and SquareEnix games.
And when i hear this song on my iPod or when i'm playing in Castle Oblivion on RE:COM, i just stop Sora and put my TV volume on max, and start hearin this song, that almost blast my TV speakers, but i don't care, cos i love it!!
And i don't know how to describe this music, but i sure know 1 thing!
That this music seems like a Heaven's Song, sunged by angels or something!!...
