Hey! Thanks for all the thumbs and positive comments everyone. An update: I recently got married to a wonderful woman that came back into my life after 7 years gone. She has helped me renew my faith and find God as I understand him. Together we have started on a journey that will surely last the rest of our lives... walking beside each other with Him at our side. What a blessing I have been given. I pray that others like me will find their own path to walk with Him.

My youth minister knew them before they got real popular and we used to see them for free at our church. They really are so down to earth and in love with God. They're awesome.
i have been in love with them ever since their first album. The Outsiders is my favorite CD right now. I dont think I have one particular favorite song, since they are all so good. The members of NTB all seem so humble and down to earth...I definitely learn a lesson from them every time I see them, whether in concert or in a video, in how I need to act in my everyday life. I play their music everday! Love this video! I've seen them 4 times recently. Also a pleasure to meet and talk with. They always come out after the shows and mingle with fans!
The band I play with was scheduled to open for needtobreathe. We found out just a minute ago that Needtobreathe refuses to perform if the local bands WHO WERE SCHEDULED TO PERFORM performed with them. So, we were dropped due to ridiculousness. For a band that is supposedly "christian", this was a very disappointing find for us. We're very down about it.
For you guys, I'm sorry to hear that, because I'm sure it was an exciting opportunity. To be honest though, I would bet that the actual band was never involved in those negotiations. Usually booking agents and managers handle that and it never reaches the band. I do know that NTB has been touring with two supporting acts, so I would imagine local openers were not needed. Sounds like a miscommunication between the club and booking company.

check out decyfer down, best i can, search for it on youtube or on air1radio, they play it live like this band. it is also a christian band like this one, and has kind of the same beat, i really like both bands i think they are both great

i have been in love with them ever since their first album. The Outsiders is my favorite CD right now. I dont think I have one particular favorite song, since they are all so good. The members of NTB all seem so humble and down to earth...I definitely learn a lesson from them every time I see them, whether in concert or in a video, in how I need to act in my everyday life. I don't consider myself a very religious man, but these guys have really made me rethink any consideration of faith. To have such devotion to your faith to write such beautiful lyrics and music, really gets the heart and mind to think about such true devotion and how it can effect people. They are one of the many groups that has the ability to sing a song that speaks to the core, the heart, the mind. Thank you for the inspiration...you never know who you can touch with music. The band I play with was scheduled to open for needtobreathe. We found out just a minute ago that Needtobreathe refuses to perform if the local bands WHO WERE SCHEDULED TO PERFORM performed with them. So, we were dropped due to ridiculousness. For a band that is supposedly "christian", this was a very disappointing find for us. We're very down about it.

For you guys, I'm sorry to hear that, because I'm sure it was an exciting opportunity. To be honest though, I would bet that the actual band was never involved in those negotiations. Usually booking agents and managers handle that and it never reaches the band. I do know that NTB has been touring with two supporting acts, so I would imagine local openers were not needed. Sounds like a miscommunication between the club and booking company.
