  • Hi there,

I like your sound. You seem to be finding the fingering on the electric pretty easy. I play acoustic mandolin and i'd love to play as smoothly as that (with the smooth sustain for trills etc). would you say that the tension of the strings on the electric is easier on the fingers than with an acoustic mandolin? is it the same as say the tension of an acoustic guitar when compared to an electric guitar? I'd love to be able to play that smooth on my mandolin.

Keep it up, you sound great!

  • @theflamingredone The tension is definitely lower so not only is it easier on the fingers but also allows for bends, sustain, and trills. The smooth sound I produce is a combination of playing with my thumb instead of a pick and the warmth of the fender blues junior tube amp.

  • what key is this in?

  • Four strings?

  • @dandy2365 yup, yer average electric "mando" is really just a small 4 string guitar in mandolin tuning

  • oh yea man! great job
