Cleansheet design by australias GM devision probably bears more similaritys to a buick v8 they have the same odd firing orders which give them a particular sound The first one was a 253 ci in holden hurricane concept in 1969 & appeared in holden autos soon after in both 308 and 253 forms the group A designation was used on holdens VN because it was a homologlation special for the international group a racing we where using at the time they where destroked to 304 to take advantage of the rules

I wouldent like his chances its pretty much an australia only thing although people can make them with relative ease and its quite common here for people to drop chevs and ford motors in them for te super sedan racing class.
I never knew 1000hp at the rear wheels was shit. I supose a front axel chewing gearbox throwing subaru wrx is an improvement of course those piles do have a habit of breaking down and before 99 are known for their sub par crash standards and often due to cheap pricing well below par drivers.
