Usually when you get this error it's from loading a project that you saved out when working on the pose but you saved the project through the File Palette instead of saving your work through the plug-in in the middle of the process or one of your subtools is not a polymesh
Hey Pixo3, thanks for the great tutorials on transpose master. So I have been trying to use your method of posing a character in Zbrush 4r2b an when am done posing my character and I hit "TPose>SubT" button, it gives me an error. The error is "error encountered while importing a file." would you happen to know what could be causing this?
Thanks for the great vid, though I do have a question if you had a moment please....The rig i'm using is almost identical to the one in your vid, but i can't get it to move so uniformly. How come when you grab the upper leg or arm and move it, the whole leg moves out together, as if it were stiff, ....but when I grab the same parts of my rig, the limb does move move all together, and becomes awkwardly bent and distorted. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Are you masking by topology? If so the pieces that are subtools will mask completely off when using topogical masking. There is a view in my channel showing how to get around this. However, you could just do a masking selection.
When saving out a rig with Transpose Master you have to use the Save and Load that is in the Transpose Master. They are called Save TM Proj and Load TM Proj.
I'm stuck with this because after creating my rig, I like to save out my zbrush project before posing, so that I have a fall back position.
The problem is that when I do this, go back (even if I left the session open) and go through the trouble of posing my creature, I finish the pose and try to finish up the process by hitting TPose to SubT and it asks me to Load file from Disk.
thanks alot,. it was a gr8 tutorial,.. both 1& 2 videos ... n i've made my first z rig with ur help.. N it looks awesome,. thank u 1ce again 4 this :)

I think it is because I've saved and load the zsphere rig as a tool. Now I can't get out from transpose. What can I fix it?

When I pose it. and trying to get out from tpose. so I clicked on TPost > SubT, it ask me to load a file from disc. What did I do wrong?
HapZungLam 1 year ago
@HapZungLam It ask me to load a file from a disc when I Append any subtool to the transpose scene. If I will delete subtool, works fine.
