Notes Plus is good, but I am good using the Ghostwriter Notes app I bought at majorspot[dot]com. I can convert my notes to PDF easily.

It';s not a bad app for note taking, and possibly in the top four. However, in order to get the most out of it, requires a great stylus and all these foam rubber tipped ones SUCK. The only good ones I've found, are the ones from STYLUS-R-US at beststylusDOTcom. They really are everything they preach on their site. Never skip or miss activation., No pressure needed at all. Expensive but with every penny of it.

can you write over documents? For instance my professor provides lecture notes in pdf files, but it would be helpful if I could add comments and graphs on these. Is this possible on notes plus or any other tablet

@logant44 you can do that on note taker hd. I am not sure about this app, but I have note taker hd and it does it on that.

That pretty much just sold me an iPad. It's perfect for me as a film major. I'm stoked I hate using my Damn laptop. I was stuck between this the xoom and the asus eee slate the eee slate is pretty much a laptop but but it has like a 3 hour battery life if I want a big ass laptop like computer ill get a laptop. The xoom is sick but I'm kind of starting to be an apple fanboy just because itunes with all the apps is very convenient. Although I still wish there was a more customization with ios

After trying many different apps, Notes Plus has gained the top position in my daily routine. Notes Plus is very simple, yet very powerful and packed with many extremely useful features. I agree with lg123xyz 1 about the endless page. Pages are a physical constraint when working on paper, but a completely artificial and unnecessary constraint when working with electronic media. To: navigatro You currently cannot delete audio clips but it will be in the next release. For the handwriting suggestion, that would be hard to code thereof it may be more like a $10 app. Thanks and if you have further questions please ask me!

How do you delete audio clips from the page? I have not been able to do that. Also, it would be nice to have a feature that takes your real-time handwriting and turn it into text that stays within the page lines.

looks like the onenote replacement I've been searching for. Definitely a dealbreaker in getting an ipad.
