Generic is a great brand, with great prices.. i would like to setup my Generic Trigger SM 50 to go like this does, cause as mine is now - my engine sounds bored, and max. speed in 3. gear is 30 kph.. not right.. <- this is how it should be according to danish law, but i mean really.. The same bike is sold as "little motorcycle" with a 120 cc engine, and the name is then "Generic Trigger SM 120" - the brakes, the stearing, lights, wheels, EVERYTHING is the same on SM 50 compared to the SM 120..

@trykkermike ..what i mean is, the quality and everything is GREAT on a generic, its the Audi of a 2-wheel machine, and the price is even low.

got the same bike and wow! its so fast when i first got it it was running at 40 restricted and it is now de restricted it blows about 62 with no mods apart from de restrictiong cost of £20 :D:D

You are criticising this bike without owning one or tried it. Well i own a generic and i haven't regretted at all. You see you probably don't want to spend ~3.5k for a bike which you use for like 2 years and then sell. + if you are 185 cm or more derbis and aprilias feel little little toys compared to generic

@Animaniac10 im taller than 185 cm and my derbi does not feel like a little toy, my mate has a brand new generic and my derbi is 2005, i like the feel of the derbi more, i find it more comftable and it is faster and both are derestricted :L

I've got 30.000 km on my generic trigger sm 50 ..suck on that!!!!

...using motul 510 oil .....and the bike is almost 3 years old ...

Now i'm doing engine rebuild ..of gearbox ..so that is .. im replacing bearings,

seals and gaskets , front fork oil , brake oil ...and i've got to sort out the spacing between drive shafts and engine block ...i got a feeling that that is the main reason for jumping out of 2 gear.... so we will see

Original cylinder will be placed back also with piston ...

take out all shit from the exhaust !!!!!!!!!!!!... :D... it goes original 70 km/h it's a lot of work.. but in 3-4 hours yo must be done !!!! male you're attention on the first knee ( the big one).....

a second solution is to buy a sport exhaust ... Leovice, Gianelli or something like that !!!

Alright so I just got this bike yesterday (CBT in 2 days) and I'm finding it a bit hard (taking into account I've barely even touched a motorbike before). What I'm especially finding the hardest is trying to find neutral again - it seems to take a lot of time if you've forgotten your gear (especially if you where at lights)...also has anyone got any tips in general for this bike? :)

i have one of these i have just ordered a 14 tooth front sprocket:) i currently have an 11 tooth one which maxes out at about 45mph on a straight should hit 60mph with a 14 tooth
