  • i still think your kitten has a while before you can enter him into kitty fights or your traing suks hahaha ps mike vick has some good tips

  • Awww Hedgehogs are so cute, the kittens are too. I'd like to get a Hedgehog someday.

  • wow you people are asses the animal is fine not traumatized I like this vid thumbs up

  • Hi, cute kitty you have there ^-^

I don't think it hurts for a kitten to know how it feels to be pricked by a hedgie :) My kitty didn't learn until he got hurt once, now he stays well clear of my hedgie.

One thing I have to comment on, though, is that you're using gloves to handle your hedgie. Gloves are not necessary or recommended. Just letting you know ^-^

  • The kitten is barely touching the hedgehog and if anything, the kitten is more likey to be hurt... which it isn't.

  • i didnt know u could get hedgehogs as pets. are they bred in captivity or somethin?

  • Very cute....ignore the negative posts. The kitten was obviously declawed and no one was getting hurt....animals don't just sit the if they are being hurt....ppl don't think before they post!

  • Heyy!!! HEdge hogs aint a toy for your cats get it as real toy:@ stop abusing that harmfl creature>:(

  • The hedgehog isn`t being hurt you idiot. The kitten is more like lol

  • wat

  • Who keeps a hedgehog as a pet?!

What do you do with a freaking hedgehog? Teach it to fetch the morning papers? Maybe train it to be ä seeing eye hedgehog if traveling by public transport?!

    Brother...

  • @Arkady63 It seems like it'd make a better pet than a hamster.

It's larger than rodent pets (except guinea pigs, and rabbits, perhaps) but smaller than most other domesticated mammals. For some people, they make fine additions to the household.

    To each their own.

  • @Arkady63 we use our hedgehog as a home protection system. we were gonna get a pitbull, but with the economy so bad we had to downsize a little.

  • i would like to know why u were wearing gloves???????

  • @loky6 Probably because hedgehogs are prickly, and because the owner probably expected the hedgehog would try to puff itself up if the kitten came up to it before the owner put it down.

  • i can here Done A Lot Of Things Different in the background...

  • You are a moron. Gloves aren't supposed to be worn with hedgehogs and this is just mean to it. Quit scaring the poor thing.

  • This is so mean. I would never do this to my 2 hedgies with our cats. And gloves are for pussies.

  • i realize his entire back is covered in quills....but are the gloves really neccessary? i see people handling hedgehogs barehanded all the time....

  • ahaha! the kitten is so cute and the hedgehogs just like "AAAHHH THE MOTHERLAND!"

  • Awesome...:)))

  • so cute ^^"

  • Boy, the hedgehog doesn't feel very threatened, does he? Doesn't even curl up, just takes a nap or something...

  • It looks like the hedgehog did curled up... when the cat approached it... you can hear it huffing and puffing quickly... and every time that cat is hitting, its making that huffing noise. They ballup when they do that.

  • dont use gloves dood, or the hedgie wont ever get used to your hands and its smell and stuff

  • Plus there's nothing softer than a hedgehog's belly!

  • the kitten isnt dumb, its young and hasnt seen anything like that before.

  • Kitty thinks it's a giant mouse pin cushion.

  • @royalfuzziness lmao omg i wouldn';t of thought of saying a giant mouse oin cusion lmao classic

  • Why are you wearing gloves in this video??? Is this hedgehog brand new or something?? Because I have a hedgehog and gloves are definitely not necessary. If you are new to handling one then I understand.

  • i like the hedgehog!

  • thats one thing you dont have to worry about hedgies with, getting along with the bigger pets. They kinda take care of that on their own.

  • i like the fact that the cat goes around the corner to attack the hedgehog

  • Seems like the playing is one sided. I think a piercing went through to your gray matter.

Sure, I like to get bopped on a daily basis. Does wonders for my outlook.

  • I think the kitten thought it was a Boppit

  • Kitty thats not nice.

    Don't hit the hedgehog!

  • nice song choice and qq did you name the hedgehog sonic?

  • whats with the gloves?

  • Comment removed

  • That kitten didn't quite know what to make of the hedgehog. Did the kitten get poked by the hedgehog's defences?

  • Well.. guess the owner himself like piercing himself.. so maybe his cat love some too. ;)

  • that was funny =)

  • That is so cute! Ive been watching videos with hedgehogs cause im getting one this weekend!

And some people below need to read up. I just read that its good to put your hedgehog with a kitten to introduce them. Kitten needs to get pricked to teach it not to mess with that hedgehog in the future.

  • I still have my little hedgehog.. and hes doing GREAT.. Alive and NOT SHY... and were actually getting another one for christmas.. =D

  • asshole!!!!!! i wanna hedgehog =(

  • @mellimu

Exactly! youre SUPPOSE to introduce your animals to eachother so they learn to get along. The cat was curious and the hedgie used his defense mechanism. its NOT animal abuse and its NOT disgusting and its NOT any of the shit the ignorant ones posted. Sure, Hedgie is scared. but it needs to be done if you want animals to get along with eachother.

  • I don't really think the owner is trying to have the cat "attack" the hedgehog. I think he was trying to have them meet and anyone who has had or seen kittens knows how curious and nervous they are about everything. They want to know what everything is and I think that's what this kitten was doing. When they thing didn't move or felt different, it was curious. And the title is what most of you are probably upset about. It "looks" as if the kitten is attacking the hedgehog, even though it's not.

  • So you were basically baiting your pets against eachother

  • the cat wont get hurt.. and neither will the hedgehog.. you crazy?? ever seen kittens play.. KITTENS.. not killer cat..lol

  • lol

  • Cute hedgehog. What's his name?

  • Ron Sonic Jeremy

  • i have a rescued hog that was abused by cats...i guess it is your right to have a little Roman style fun...it took a year to be able to cuddle my hog (yes, i don't have to use glove to pick him up because he trusts me). Because of his old person letting cats go at him, whenever he smells a cat he balls up and huffs and is unhappy for at least a full day.

  • if that is the guy's pet hedgehog, he shouldnt be wearing gloves.they need to get used to YOUR smell, not the smell of the gloves. and if he really thinks it's that prickly, he shouldnt have gotten one.

  • people who made bad commets on fantastic videos need to get lost!

  • After the first couple seconds, they should have moved the kitten. The hedgehog was visibly scared since he was getting defensive with his quills. Why would they keep letting the kitten terrorize the poor hedgie?! Sheesh.

  • listen kitty not tryna b mean but if it hurt the 1st 5 times its gonna hurt the next 5

  • EAT IT

  • I recon dat kitten is tryn to impress the other one

  • BITCHSLAP THAT HEDGEHOG KITTY!!!!

  • My two favorite animals in one video! It would be heaven if it wasn't for the country music in the background.

  • You're calling it dumb? It's a kitten, and kittens are naturally curious.

How about we stick you in a cage full of hedgehogs and see how you like being stabbed by their quills.

  • "prince is dumb n he didnt know what a hedgehopg was.."

person who posted this video: retard.

    guy in the video: retard.

but you are probably marginally smarter than the animals in the video, congratulations that must be very exciting.

  • lol...

  • @G0tM1Ik Don't worry about them..

  • Because. . .one animal being hurt by another is funny? Because it isn't at all like one child slapping another? Because there's no way that kitten could be hurt/made sick by the hedgehog?

Disgusting. As is the music in the background.

  • yeah but its a kitten punching a hedgehog lol

  • but its just playing about, u can see its not harming it at all, i meen just imagine a kitten bringing down a hedge hog . . . why did u think it was prickly?????? lol

  • Hedgehogs are nervous little creatures. The kitten may not hurt the hedgehog per say but it isn't fun for an animal to be scared. It is part of responsible pet ownership to give pets a good quality of life. I make sure that my cats give my hedgehog the space it needs to feel comfortable.

  • escept you can see its not bothered at all in this case

  • yeah like this is animal abuse... it is like two kids... but they arent hurting each other..they are playing.. lighten up..

  • @nidanlee I know this is a 2 year ago comment. But you are dumbass my friend. Hedgehog quils are not easy at all to get through. The cat wasnt even getting it's paws hurt. Although the Hedgehog was getting annoyed Both animals werent getting hurt. So sorry go be a animal dick sucking hyporcrit somewhere else. FYI:Hedgehogs are not like porcupines so the quils dont go into things.

  • @nidanlee don't get your panties in a knot...........

  • lmao, poor hedghog

  • ahhhhhhh i want a hedgehog!!!!!

  • that was cute

  • i loved it!!! awesome!!

  • Not as bad as Michael Vick I guess......

  • pointless

  • That poor kitten. isnt it getting hurt? if the man had to wear gloves shouldnt the kitten be getting hurt too

  • Man was wearing gloves because it's a wild animal and might have icky diseases. Hedgehogs aren't that pokey.

It's the hedgehog I'm worried about, they're little balls of nerves as it is, can't imagine how freaked it is at a kitten thwapping it.

  • Comment removed

  • @sapphirechan

That hedgehog is NOT a wild animal, it is the AFRICAN PYGMY HEDGEHOG bred for captivity.

But yeha, poor hedgie. They are quiet nervy little animals.

  • @shaelikestaquitos good to know about the hedgehog being bred in captivity. He must be protecting his fingers from the kitten then.

  • @MomOfLV

hahaha yes kittens have quite sharp teeth ;)

  • poor hedgehog lol

  • thank you thank you i love my kitties...lol...

  • Ha ha ha that was funny!

  • Aww! Adorable kitties!

  • that was AWESOME
