Monster tastes nothing like Red Bull, but I will give it to you that its a bit heavier than a Red Bull. Red Bull has a weird citrusy taste, Monster has a green apple like flavor to it.

Monster is my absolute favorite energy drink. I get the same happy, buzzy feeling that I get from Red Bull, but the sweetness almost tastes like a soda to me. I usually have a can every day or two.

But I do agree with you on the school part, too many kids drink energy drinks for the fancy logos and don't actually do any form of physical activity.

It should also be reminded that energy drinks ARE NOT to be used to keep you awake, they are simply to give you a boost in sport.
